A: The screws are next to the sheets. #10-15x1" The name on the box is Palram and they come with a sealing gasket already on the screw. There are 50 in a box. The number on the box above the barcode is 92522 50. When searching Home Depot online, make sure you leave a space between the last 2 and the 50. I took a picture but I don't see how to attach it in my phone. Good luck.

A: These do not fit traditional corrugated metal roofing. HD promotes these along with buying the metal product and their sales associate rccomended these when I bought my metal corrugated in store. HD should stop doing that!
by|Mar 8, 2024
A: Hello - This is not one our recommended uses, and therefore we cannot advise you on the compatibility between our products and whichever metal roofing panels you may have.
by|May 27, 2022
A: If you are using the thin roofing material from HD, then yes you should use these as long as you verify the contours match up.
by|Nov 17, 2022
A: I believe these strips are designed to be fastened to a wood stringer. They follow the contour of the corrugated roof to fill gaps and stabilize the corrugated material are no, I wouldn,t use them as structural support for a corrugated roof.

A: The corragation is a different shape than the plastic these were made for. There may be something similar for the roofing though.

Q:I am installing Palruf strips with SunTop panels on a Pergola. Do you first screw down palruf strips to pergola cross members rafters/palrins, then screw down SunTop panels to Palruf strips?

Answer This Question
A: Hi! Thanks for your question, You are correct. You should first attach the closure strips with a flathead screw. You really only need to tack them in place enough to hold them until you get the panels positioned. The 2 inch woodtite fasteners will then be screwed through the crown of the panel through the closure strip and into your wooden supports and will tie everything together.

Q:The screws are supposed to secure to the plastic strips or go through the strips and secure to the wood?
by|Aug 30, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: You can use a flat head nail/tack to secure the closures in the valleys to the rafters. This will hold them in place while installing the panels. When fastening the panels, the screws go in the peaks, not the valleys.
