    A:  It can be painted. Primer can be used and any kind of paint. It will chip later if normal paint is used so I recommend spray painting it. It is made of durable plastic.

        A:  There is a draft angle to the webs ("slat") that define the .375" square openings in the Egg Crate Light Ceiling Panel, resulting in web thickness of .050" to .065".

          Q:How do I cut these Plaskolite plastic eggcrate panels to a smaller size? What tool is needed for it?

          A:  There is a short video in the product description where they go over how to cut the various plastic panels sold by Plaskolite. It looks like all you need are some wire cutters (I usually call them angle cutters) and just hold them so the blade is perpendicular to the edge so you get a nice vertical cut.

            A:  Easier way. Stand panel on edge. Insert larger barrel screwdriver thru top cell past desired edge. Tap end of screwdriver with hammer. Tap all the way to bottom. Cut top/bottom edges w/cutter.
