A:  Woodman, This product is made of pine.

A:  They're pine, but they are pressure treated for outdoor use

A:  Yes there should be no problem attaching to the post that is in concrete. Finish nails work great and is what I used on my installation.

A:  No, it doesn't come in a 6x6.

A:  Grab one and check the fit first.

A:  The inside of this post skirt measures 3-5/8 in. x 3-5/8 in.

A:  These are approximately 3-5/8" inside.

A:  Yes they can be added later, and no cutting is needed. One of the four sides is loose, and the other three are joined together. You slip the three-sided assembly into place around the post base, and then use a pin nailer or glue to attach the remaining side.

A:  Answer: These actually come separated so you can place on the post without having to place from above, not exactly the 4x4 measure but depending on your posts they might need a few cm adjustments. Overall they look good once installed.

A:  This comes in two pieces so that you can install them around an existing post
