Q:How thick can this be applied?
          by|May 8, 2023

          Answer This Question

A:  QUIKRETE® Anchoring Cement - Exterior Use does not have a maximum placement thickness. Holes should be at least 1" (25.4 mm) larger than the size of the bolt or railing, and at least 2-4” (51 – 102 mm) deep. Increasing embedment depth will increase pull-out strength.

A:  QUIKRETE® Anchoring Cement is designed for anchoring hand-rails or anchor bolts into concrete. It should not be used in a large volume like flagpole anchoring. Instead, we recommend using one of our quality concrete products for your application. QUIKRETE® Fast-Setting Concrete Mix can be used in a dry-placement method – please follow package instructions.
