Q:Can the 700 thread 2inch sch 80?

Answer This Question
A: Hello, yes, the die heads used with the 700 will thread schedule 80 pipe. The O.D. of schedule 80 carbon steel pipe is identical to standard schedule 40 pipe. Since only the outer diameter of the pipe is threaded, the heavier wall will not be a problem.

Q:What is the difference between the Ridgid 700 and the Ridgid 700-T2? Is there a price difference and a volt ?
by|Oct 29, 2023

Answer This Question
A: The original 700 and the 700T2 only have a difference in the field, power cord and motor shroud on the inside. When the plastic shroud and field were changed the 700 became the 700 T2. the 700 has a field locking screw that is on the outside of the 700 while the 700 T2 has 2 screws on the inside that hold the field in place. 700 T2 is the current version that is produced and the 700 is the older version. The naming has nothing to do with voltage.
