A: Hi Firesoul4896, For any replacement parts please call our customer service for the best options in your area. 800-525-2579. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: Are you talking about a drywall screw setter? If so then any standard one will work. INSTALLING/REMOVING BITS See Figure 4, page 9. To install bits: Remove the battery pack. Pull the sleeve from the gear casing. The sleeve and adjustable nosepiece come off the gear casing as a set. Push the bit holder into the opening of the spindle until the ball lock clicks into the groove in the bit holder shank. Push the bit into the bit holder. Reattach the sleeve and adjustable nosepiece to the gear case. Align the arrow on the side the sleeve with the arrow on the gear case and push the nosepiece until it snaps into place. To remove bits: Remove the battery pack. Pull the sleeve from the gear casing. The sleeve and adjustable nosepiece come off the gear casing as a set. Push the bit holder shank toward the gear casing and remove the bit. Also, look on page 9 of the owners manual for a diagram.
A: I recommend the HILTI 2 inch bit holder. Its the same size the one that came with the ryobi screw gun and has a stronger magnet. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Hilti-2-in-Magnetic-Bit-Holder-2038758/204651742
A: Yes, the bit holder is magnetized.
A: Yes
A: yes
A: Hi ReidsYardGames. The holder is magnetized and that will magnetize the bit. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: The tip wasn't that strong. I used a magnetizer and it helped.
A: This is how the free tool promo works: When you purchase the two batteries and the tool, (whether online or at a store) the price on all three items are marked down equally to a point where the tool is free due to the price reductions. As far as getting the drywall gun for free, it all depends on what tools Ryobi / Home Depot are offering up. You can find out online as those particular tools will be marked as a promo tool. What I will tell you is that I purchased the drywall gun and it's worth every penny. Just my $.02.

A: I have not found o ne it will work with. I have alsdo asked tyhis question direct tyo Ryobi as it needs a magazine available.
A: no
A: I was doing some research online and I couldn't find anything that showed that it did work with it. I would suggest contacting Ryobi support. 1.800.525.2579 https://www.ryobitools.com/support/contact
A: Hi Kenny, We do not make a correlated screw attachment for this model. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: No, this tool is designed only for use on drywall.
A: This is for driving screws on drywall installation. To install a deck you would want a hammer and nails or impact driver and screws. The Ryobi impact drivers are a good value and work well.
A: Hi Willy, This was made for drywall only and will not work with deck boards. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: Possibly but I wouldn't recommend it. That's a lot or torque on the drywall gun motor. It's meant to go through drywall and regular pine, not pressure treated wood and decking. I would recommend using the impact driver. I have the impact driver and it drove in the deck screws like a hot knife through warm butter...
A: I would recommend using the Ryobi P237 or P238 impact driver instead. That's what I used to build my deck and it worked flawlessly. I also have this drywall gun and it works great for what it is intended to do. However, I would not recommend for your particular application.
A: Hi Brett, There should not be any issue with driving the screws into wood. Thanks for asking. Greg
A: Yes, you can use this tool to drive the screws into wood.
A: To drive screws into wood you would use an impact driver or drill.
A: I drove a 2 1/2 inch screw into wood as a test. It worked fine on a wood 2x4 stud.
A: Hi Aceman999999, The two brands you listed will not work with this gun. Thanks for your interest. Greg
A: Unfortunately these will not work with this screw gun.
A: No, these products are not compatible.
A: That sounds like a dead or possibly defective battery. If you have a different battery, try using that one and see what happens. The tools itself will only work when it has power, which is supplied by the battery. If the light on the battery is flashing, I'm assuming that it is on only one bar. That indicates a dead battery.
A: My nail gun does the same thing when it gets a jam. I am guessing that you have to pull out the battery to prevent overheating of the motor. And as you said, its after 100, I could see that after 10 - 20, that would be a bigger issue, but 100 is a good bit. But again this is just a thought, I commented be cause my other tools have done that when there was an "issue", and I rather like it, seeing that it lets me know...something, lol.
A: The blinking light lets you know the battery needs to be recharged
A: Thank you for asking, LoweJoshua51. Please contact our customer service technicians by dialing 877-544-9250 and they may be able to help troubleshoot the issue or guide you in the correct direction. I hope this helps and we appreciate your interest in Ryobi! -Keri
