A:  Yes, there is a Lifetime Warranty on these shovels.

A:  The Warranty is worthless. I tried to file a claim and was denied because I did not have a receipt. Shovel is poorly designed, broke after 2nd use. A reputable company will stand behind their product. Stay away from AMES products.

A:  Unless you saved your receipt don't bother. They are poorly designed and break easily. If you try and file a claim they will look for any way to get out of honering the warranty.

                Answer This Question

A:  Yes, I have replaced the handle. Removed the rivet. I took a spade wood bit and drilled down into the shovel. Then took a dull screw drive to break out the remaining wood ring. Took old handle and sanded down with a belt sander until it fit.

A:  There is no easy way to repair a clean out shovel. If you can find a handle that would fit tightly, you could use screws to connect the handle, but that is not recommended.
