Thank you for reaching out! What you’re experiencing is actually common with new rugs, especially during the first few weeks of use. Here’s what’s happening and how to handle it: Shedding & Pilling: Many new rugs, particularly those made from wool, synthetic blends, or high-pile materials, will naturally shed fibers at first. This can look like “balling up” or pilling. Rug Pad Impact: Using a pad is good—it helps protect your floor and extend the life of the rug—but some fibers may rub against it and create extra loose fibers initially.
Hello Barbara, there are a total of 10 colors that can be found on the 3rd display icon. There are colors like salsa, conch shell, meteorite, gray dawn, and many more. Hope this helps.
Hello Hannah! We recommend to use a rug pad to prevent slipping and sliding. Thank you for your question!
I ordered two round 6" rugs- both smell like mold. I have aired it out in the sun for three days- still smells like mold. I'd upload a photo but you can't see the mold - you can only smell it. I'm returning it
Hello! Generally, new Safavieh rugs will emit an odor. This odor is likely caused by the packaging material, dyes, fiber yarns, and or backing. These are all natural odors that are sometimes heightened after the rug has been sealed for shipping and/ or storage. The odor will dissipate within 1 - 2 weeks, after removing from the packaging. Thank you for your question!
Hello - The tassels are not included into the size of the rug.
Yes it does!
Hi. We highly recommend keeping water or liquids off this rug as it can destroy the foundation of the rug. Thank you.
Hi Janie. The smell should dissipate within 1-2 weeks when you air it out. It only has the smell due to being in the packaging. Thank you for your inquiry.
Hello. There are various colors in the gray/multi rug, because so many are in the blend they are not listed and typically just labeled as multi-color. The rug itself is more muted than bright. Thank you for your inquiry.
