A: You would need to check with your doctor about that. If you have further questions about our products, please contact Customer Service M-F, 8am-5pm at (877) 700-4242.
A: I'm a licensed plumber and I don't know how to answer that question. I know there was research done over the years and some believe it should be filtered other say let the water run a few seconds before drinking it. As far having an allergy to it I have no idea you should ask your doctor, but I will say it is use in places you probably already drank water from. Even if its not in the house it is used to bring water into houses a lot.
A: SharkBite PEX pipe is rated for up to 200 degrees and 200 psi. If it is a close loop system, you may want to use our orange hydronic heating PEX pipe. A: if your on City water then ABSOLUTELY , Without question 1/2 inch PEX is perfect...You will have the CROOKED Plumber that will try to convince you that you need a 3/4 inch main line with 1/2 inch tributaries to each fixture and that is just a LIE. Matter of fact we are re-plumbing my daughters house for her Bathroom and the MESS that was done by a Local Licensed So-called Plumber is so unbelievable laughable it's insane but from a billing perspective he made BANK on the previous homeowner...BIG BANK... This is a common practice with a lot of so-called Licensed plumbers, it's all about the money
A: 1/2" plumbing is the average size in homes and that for a single family home, all depends on how many bathrooms kitchens and laundry areas. If the house is already plumbed with 1/2" pipe then yes. Being a plumber I run 3/4" to the main shutoff then change to 1/2".
A: Yes.
A: You have to check the requirements of your local plumbing code.
A: I used 3/4" from meter to house and 1/2" in the rest of the house, no problem at all! Good pressure even with multiple water sources on.
A: Not really, you should run you main line in 3/4" and the run out to the devices i.e. sinks and toilets in 1/2". This would be for both hot and cold water lines. This will give to ample supply pressure and volume of water to each device. Even with today low flow devices.
A: Depends on how much water flow and fixtures you have, but 1/2" is the typical diameter of plumbing in residential applications, not counting the main line into the house, which is usually 3/4". Plus, most of the fixture connections are going to require 1/2" connections. But again, it would be user preference.
A: no, never, it's about fixture units, I like to have all units going from 3/4 to one 1/2 when I actual get to one fixture, so in a full bath I have a 3/4x3/4x1/2 tee going to the lav, same to the toilet, cept I can go 3/4 x 1/2x1/2 to catch cold side shower/bath, no where in one case does a 1/2 tee take place, if I use a 1/2 tee, that means I'm hitting 2 fixture with 1/2, and compromising water pressure, if you have a 3/4 in water meter you have 3/4 pressure, if you meter has half inch then you can run 1/2 in throughout your house, you can't gain any pressure because you bottleneck at the meter
A: It all depends on the house and the water supply, but some local codes require 3/4.
A: I would use it to run to your sink and toilet and appliances. (for short runs ) Then for like your main lines and for runs longer than 5ft I would use 3/4".
A: Yes, we used the red and blue 1/2 under our double wide and have had no problems. Im lovin it

A: This product can be used for domestic water in residential housing.
A: We've had it installed for one year and have not noticed any bad smells or tastes in the water
A: I just recently read of someone in a situation that noticed a bad smell. They did not mention the brand of pex but it was attributed to chlorine. If I remember correctly the chlorine affected the pex in someway.
A: Have my house plumbed in this pex and use in my customers houses. Never had complaints about smell or taste.

A: not long, it wasn't made for that purpose, perhaps you could dye the water in the panels, the flexible clear tubing will decompose too, you could also spray the pipe with UV protectant, but how long it would last is anyone's guess
