Q:Is it the same as an Eaton CHN220GF? Installed in a Cutler Hammer CH12BBR TYPE 3 R Enclosure panel
by|Aug 3, 2024

Answer This Question

A:  No, This is a Square D product. Not compatible with Eaton.

by|Aug 5, 2024

A:  Hi Kent, It is the same electrically on the CHN220GF however, you can't mount our breakers to Eaton panel/enclosure. Reason being is that every product has it's own UL testing and listing and our products have not been tested with Eaton products. Warm Regards, Schneider Electric Customer Care

      Q:Will this replace a type d dw 8586 breaker?

      Answer This Question

A:  Hi Matt, Type DW-8586 is an issue number it varies depending on the batch of production and has nothing to do with the breaker dimension and installation. If you are needing 2 pole 40A breaker for HOMELINE then this is the correct breaker. The CP suffix is only for Commercial Packaging which is the type of packing seen in retail stores it is no different on a HOM240 breaker. Warm Regards, Schneider Electric Customer Care

A:  Hello BMSMF, We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused you. In case you are having an issue looking for HOM230CP, you may try HOM230 instead. The CP suffix stands for commercial packaging. The breaker itself is no different. Warm regards. Schneider Electric Customer Care

            Answer This Question

A:  Hi BobMac, If you have a 30A plug switch and the loads you are intending to use is (1) 40A and (1) 15A the plug switch will overload. It may be best to replace the plug switch first with a higher rated one before doing the application you want. Warm regards. Schneider Electric Customer Care

              Answer This Question

A:  Hi John, If you have an RC81F200CA200 then most probably that has a HOMELINE type interior so that particular breakers linked will work. However, it may still be best to take a photo of the wiring diagram on the back of the cover and reach us out with our chat live https://www.se.com/us/en/work/support/customer-care/contact-schneider-electric.jsp where an agent will be able to give you further assistance on this matter. A:  Hello Scott, We both have a 50A GFCI breaker for the Homeline and QO load center. HOM250GFI and QO250GFI. Please take note that you cannot use a third-party breaker for Square D Panels. This will be a violation of the UL listing and the warranty of the product. Warm regards.
