        Answer This Question

A:  Yes. If you notch out the jamb protector at the hinges the door could stay on but not close. They protect the jambs from folks using power wheelchairs which easily dent the jambs. If doors are left on, the protectors could be popped off as needed.

A:  No. The door must be removed as this is solely protection for the jambs and casings.

A:  Trimaco's door jamb protector is intended to be used on the latch side. However if your doors are not installed, or were removed for your project, they could be used on the hinge side.

A:  No, with a door jamb in place it will keep a door from closing- protecting the door jamb. Please let us know if you have any other questions!

A:  No. This material will prohibit door closure on the strike side. It is designed to protect jambs and casing with the door removed.
