A:Â Yes. If you notch out the jamb protector at the hinges the door could stay on but not close. They protect the jambs from folks using power wheelchairs which easily dent the jambs. If doors are left on, the protectors could be popped off as needed.

A:Â Trimaco's door jamb protector is intended to be used on the latch side. However if your doors are not installed, or were removed for your project, they could be used on the hinge side.

A:Â No. This material will prohibit door closure on the strike side. It is designed to protect jambs and casing with the door removed.
