Answer This Question
A: PVC Schedule 40 Foam Core Pipe is for DWV purposes only. It is for non-pressure systems where temperatures will not exceed 140° F. It is coextruded and has a cellular core. For pressurized situations, you'd need to get schedule 40 solid wall PVC.

Answer This Question
A: Hi, Larry - Sch 40 PVC has a little flexibility but certainly would not bend into a loop on its own. However, check on-line videos on ways to heat it from within (like hot sand) that will allow you to shape it as needed.

A: If you're looking for a bend radius of a few feet or less, then no. 1/2" or 3/4" PEX would work better.
