Answer This Question
A: Hi, could you pls check below information for how to change batteries?
Firstly, twist and remove the housing from the top cover.
Then remove the battery cover. Replace the old battery with 2 fresh AA NiMH 1200 mAh rechargeable batteries.
At last, resemble the battery cover and housing.
For optimum performance, it is best to install the solar light in full sunlight and let it charge for 6-7 hours.
Allow the light to run at least 8-12 entire charging and discharging cycles to reach the maximum capacity of the battery.

Answer This Question
A: It just sits on the post and is fastened with 2 included screws.

A: My fence posts were a little bit too large for cap to fit correctly. I filed them down a bit then used the screws to tighten onto the post.

A: Use small screws in the bottom of the lights to anchor the light to top of post. Must cut top of post so it is horizontal. Slide light over top of post before applying screws.

Q:Will these work in indirect sunlight? Or does the sunlight need to be direct to charge the cap properly?

Answer This Question
A: In my experience it needs to be in direct sunlight, or else it won’t charge properly.
by|Sep 14, 2022
A: Direct light is preferred, but indirect light will charge it enough for several hours of light after sunset. It’s unlikely you’ll get much of a charge if it’s in shadows most of the day.

Q:Do these fit a 4x4 pvc sleeve post cover

Answer This Question
A: They fit perfectly over a 4x4 pressure treated post. If a sleeve covers over the p.t. post, then the light will not fit. I hope this helps.

A: Hi Barb.
Thank you for shopping at The Home Depot.
The actual size of the Veranda 4 in. x 4 in. 3 Lumens Copper is: 3 5/8 in. x 3 5/8in.
The actual size of your 4x4 pvc sleeve post would also have to be 3 1/2 in. x 3 1/2in. for a proper fit.
