A: The bags are .5 cu ft. the coverage is dependent on how deep you are going to put the Lava Rock. I can tell you from experience that it takes more than what you will think.

A: 27 square feet. Based upon how many inches deep you need will determine how big of an area it will cover. Example: 3' x 9' x 12" deep = 27 square feet. 3' x 9' x 4" deep = 9 square feet.

A: Natural lava rocks are a natural product of volcanic eruptions. However to get a uniform color for a decorative effect, not sure if coloring is added, Therefore not sure if it would be suitable for use around growing food for human consumption. I don’t have packaging any longer, but when emptying from bags lots of flaky dust. But after years in my garden beds that all disappeared long ago.

A: not meant to be a paver to be walked on. find a place that dumps loose in a trailer. much cheaper.

A: I would consider these small red lava rocks. Like 3/4" - 1 1/4" in that range

A: The rocks are the size as shown in the photo. They are very decorative and maintain their color. I personally would not be able to walk on the rocks unless you have strong feet.

A: We used them mixed in with our bad dirt and some bagged soil for some of our landscaping plants with good results
