The surface mount post would allow you to affix it to a deck. Although this product can be racked to account for a slight grade, it is not designed to be angled as you described. A:  Thanks for reaching out! Our fence posts, VP13008, are universal for our traditionally installed fencing. Due to the honey combed design, we do not require separate line, corner, and finishing posts. 2 posts come in every VP13008, and 1 post will come in every fence kit. You will only want to order 1 box of posts to complete your project unless you have more than 1 stopping and starting point or more than 1 gate. 1 additional post is required for every gate, because gates do not come with any posts in the box.

A:  Hello, thank you for reaching out. This fence can be mounted using the surface mount, model# SB61000. Since the posts are designed to be installed "traditionally" they are 6 ft tall.
