AnswerTechnically yes, however, here's why this is not a great idea. First off, each purchase of this picket from comes with a 6ft post that is designed to be installed in ground with concrete. To install to your own posts, you'll be disposing of the posts that come with each box set. Secondly, you'll need to purchase brackets to install each panel to your existing posts, while also being sure that the spacing between posts is no more than 7ft. IF you truly want to do this, please contact us directly to JUST purchase the panels and not the panel and post kit.

AnswerThis style of fence panel can slope with your yard up to about 8" per panel. To slope with the grade of your yard, you'll need to keep the fence rails parallel with the ground. You may need to trim the ends of the rails so they fit flush in the groove of the posts if your slope is fairly steep. The pickets should swivel and stay upright. If your slope is greater than 8" per panel, you may need to dremel out the picket holes so that the pickets are able to "shift" and remains upright.

AnswerThe rail heights are adjustable; you decide how high/low you'd like them to be. However, typically the bottom rail in 2" above ground. The bottom of the top rail sits 38.5" from the ground up.

Overall this is a fantastic DIY solution. I had rocky sections and was worried about driving in the posts, however it turned out to be a non-issue in the end - even with the manual pounder (probably better actually than powered as you need to carefully check they are going in straight as you pound them in). The only thing I would point out is inserting the posts really is a two person job - to be successful you have one person pound a couple of times, hold the pounder there & the other person checks with a two-way level to make sure it is going in level, then pound 2-3 more times & check again - even had the checker push the pole in the right direction if off for the next pounding - we did this is great success. Once the posts are in one person can easily do all of the rest...

The material thickness and flexibility of construction was the deciding factor for purchase. WamBam sent me a sample kit so I had a "hands on" experience before my purchase. The posts, rails and pickets can all be cut to fit. I bought two extra posts with caps and put up two seven foot sections. Posts were direct buried in dirt. I did not use the metal posts or concrete. This is only a decorative installation. I custom sculpted the picket heights to fit my application. It turned out great. Picture is attached.

Installed two 7 ft. panels a few weeks ago and they look fantastic! I used WamBam's Surface Mount system to mount directly on cement. It takes a little effort to drill into cement, but once that was completed the fence went up in a snap. Though just a privacy fence, it is very sturdy but I would refrain from hanging from it. Product comes with everything you need including screws and PVC glue for the caps. Their customer service has been top notch! Thank you WamBam for both a great product and customer service. Fence arrived in a timely manner. Instructions were easy to follow and accurate. Construction, with a helper, was simple and installation of 40 feet into concreted holes took less than an hour. Tools needed were a cordless drill, level, tape measure, and string line.
This product was chosen to withstand east Texas sun and damp conditions, without rot or warping.

I bought this fence as a landscaping accessory and to hide the electric box and water meter. I have had many comments on how nice it looks and how sturdy it is. The price was excellent. I couldn't find anything of this quality at as low a price. It came quickly as well.

Good sturdy fence which anyone can install. Comes with post which makes it really convenient from a materials prospective. Looks great and I would suggest this to anyone looking to perk up their property with a fence.
