Answer This Question
A: I use it on my table saw (1 1/2)
HP and also on my shop vacuum.

A: Yes, I have one and I use it to reset my router when needed. I've used this for other items also, including to turn on and off a garage light.
by|Jul 25, 2020
A: This is rated to a maximum of 15A through both outlets so as long as your shop vac does not exceed that or the rating of your circuit you should be fine. Most 1HP shop vacs use about 10A of current but check your owners manual or specs online for your specific shop vac.

A: Since this is rated for 15 amps and the diameter of the six-inch long AC cord is 3/8 of an inch, I would guess that it is 14 gauge.

A: I don't know the gauge but I used Flex Tape to seal the power supply connection. The spray from the sprinkler system use to short it out.

Answer This Question
A: It resets to the off state when there is a power failure.
by|Jun 14, 2020
A: No, if you lose power when the device is on, it will reset to off when the power comes back.
by|Mar 6, 2020
A: No it doesn't have a memory. After a power failure it will have to be re-energized to turn back on. I tested mine by unplugging it and then plugging it back in.
