Questions and Answers for Westinghouse Jax Industrial-Style 56 in. Brushed Nickel Ceiling Fan with Wall Control

A:  Thank you for your question. The Industrial fan, model 7861400 and store sku 1000638383 comes with an included offset 5 speed fan wall control.

A:  This is reversible if it is the newer version of the fan. The reverse switch is under the yoke which is on top of the motor housing. It is on page 9, step 10 in your manual.

A:  Yes you sure can, it will attach a little differently though. Look at the beauty ring that covers where the wires are wire nutted together in the ceiling normally, see the holes for screws in the beauty ring? That is what will mount to the top of the fan motor where the down rod would normally be after you take it out.

A:  Thank you for your question. No, you cannot install our 56" Industrial ceiling fan without the included down rod. You need clearance both above and below the blades for proper installation and operation. You can use a longer down rod if needed, up to a 48" down rod with the included lead wire.

A:  No, you cannot install more than 1 fan with the included wall control. If you need to operate more than 1 fan with 1 controller then we recommend to use our 7787000 remote control as long as these fans are within 40 feet of the remote control. You will need a remote control kit for each fan as each fan will need its own receiver. A:  This fan must be used with the Wall Control that comes with the ceiling fan. This wall control only controls one Industrial ceiling fan.
