Q:Can multiple poles be connected together? For example, can I attach two 12' poles together to make a 24' pole?
by|Jul 8, 2024

Answer This Question

A:  The Sherlock poles are not designed to be attached to each other. They have a handle grip on one end and the bayonet tip on the other end to connect your roller frame. Our customer service department can be reached at 800-392-7246 for any questions.

Q:Can I use this with a 16" threaded push-broom head? My old extension pole has worn out. I use the broom on the extension pole to drag sticks and leaves off my roof without having to climb onto the roof.

      Answer This Question

A:  While the Sherlock GT Pole could be used with a threaded push-broom head, we would caution this use due to the torque and pressure that might be used in cleaning off the roof. The polypropylene conversion tip could break off as it is typically not as strong as the metal threaded tip. If you choose to use the GT pole in this manner, you will need to use the conversion tip that is stored in the handle of the pole, to convert the pole from a GT Bayonet tip to a threaded tip.

        Answer This Question

A:  Absolutely, the Sherlock GT Convertible features a threaded adapter in the pole's grip. Just remove the threaded adapter and attach to the bayonet tip of the Sherlock GT. You can now also use all standard thread tools, too. A visual of this can be seen in the images and videos for the Sherlock GT when looking looking at any Sherlock GT pole on the website. Wooster Customer Service is also always available to help at 800-392-7246.

A:  I used it with a non Wooster roller. It think it would work with most if not all rollers that can be screwed on to a pole. It comes with a screw-in adapter that stays in the bottom of pole when not in use. I would say it works just as well as any screw in pole with the adapter. The right Wooster rollers simply clip into place.

A:  The threaded adapter fits general painting pole brushes. I use this pole with an auto brush to clean my pickup truck. You can also attach dusting attachments to this pole for cleaning cobwebs around the ceiling.

A:  Yes, absolutely it can. There is a threaded adapter in the handle of the extension pole and will allow you to thread on any roller or brush or squeegee And that snaps in to the Wooster push lock. I bought extra adapters and leave them on my non Wooster brushes and rollers!
