I purchased this plywood to cover my front window after a windstorm caused a pine tree in my backyard to fall onto the roof of my house, shattering my front window. This piece of plywood helped to keep the cold, wet weather out of my house and to keep my heating bill within reason.

I have a very good saw with a 60 tooth diablo blade, every piece I have cut off falls apart

I bought these to use for the underlayment before I put down the new flooring. These were recommended by the sales person at Home Depot, it all mildewed before I could use them.

The veneer lifted off of the panels as soon as I started to work with them. This is crap--the worse plywood I've ever worked with and I have over 40 years experience as a finish carpenter and cabinetmaker.

Bought this as a economical alternative to luan and am very disappointed. Some edges are delaminating and soft which is not good for a glue down vinyl plank installation. Will have to cut out the soft spots and fill with Ardex.

This wood is good because it’s basically water proof and it is good for anything.

I use this to make fake shiplap. I started with the popular method of cutting strips. But i have created a better method that works in most applications. I use a mini circular saw to cut channels (deep enouch but not too deep) to simulate the lines of shiplap. Then i put up the whole sheet. Love it!

I'm sure it's great for the intended purpose . I use it for drawer bottoms and the back of small storage chests so it would be nice if the outer layers were a bit thicker . It still works good just don't sand it very much .

I do like this stuff - though I've never used it for underlayment. I've used it for floating panels in fairly fine cabinetry, because it's inexpensive and there's often interesting figure - just don't do more than barely sand it - the top veneer is thin and the glue is often red!I also use it to make lightweight wooden storage bins to go on shelves, with 1x2s and 3/4" flat-head screws.

Underlayment (Common: 7/32 in. x 4 ft. x 8 ft.; Actual: 0.196 in. x 48 in. x 96 in.) We used this underlayment for a new floor in our foyer. We replaced some pretty hefty tile with laminate flooring, thus needing a new solid/flat floor to attach it to. It is lightweight, but very strong and smooth, easy to cut and nail. It was used on an area approximately 8 X 14. Also reasonably priced. We have used this same product for numerous projects in our home and will continue to.

I did not use this for my floor, this is now my ceiling in my living area and I absolutely love it. I chose not to paint it, leaving in its natural state. It goes will with my walls, an unique solution to a weight limit for me. Again, it is so amazing, be happy to share pictures of how it turned out.

There are two types of underlament I see under this sku at Home Depot... this one has a pinkish hue to the finished side, the other is a more natural-looking wood tone. Which one you're going to find depends on what was in the most recent shipment. Prices are equivalent. Not as much of a fan of the pink stuff as I am of it's more lightweight and less flexible counterpart, but it gets the job done. (I should note however that the range of applications for which I use this material is very narrow and highly specialized. Most consumers will be perfectly satisfied with either variety.)

BEWARE -must be screwed down every 4” on inner area, 2” around edge. There were no installation instructions by the point of purchase, as some reviewers described. If i had known this i would NEVER have bought this. It took me 3 hours to Screw down half a sheet. (Screws would not sink correctly) I had to go buy a compressor and narrow crown stapler to complete the installation. A thicker plywood would have been easier to install. Less fasteners!

I used this for my faux shiplap wall. I love it. It's exactly what I was wanting.

Used this instead of sheet rock for access to shower/tub plumbing connections. Worked great. One good smooth side, relativity inexpensive, light, easy to handle.not very stiff, needs support when laying out lines and cutting the line.

These panels are now made in China. Nice finish but softer material that damages more easily.

After reading all the positive reviews of people who have painted this and used it for indoor projects, I had home depot cut 3 panels and was planning on using them for board and batten. Luckily I did not adhere the cut panels to the wall before I primed them because immediately after applying the primer the entire surface of the board was covered in bubbles where the veneer had raised up. Very disappointed!

Painted the finished side with interior latex paint after finishing the project and I will caution others that even though the wood surface appeared smooth, a number of small bubbles showed up when painted. It was a hinged cover for an air conditioner air handler so I was satisfied with the finished product. Thanks to Trell from the Melbourne store for the great idea.

This underlayment is a good option for a moisture barrier. We always use this product under laminate flooring.

Smooth, clean, & surprizingly strong for such a thin ply. For me, the thickness fit the job! It covered minor defects in the existing subflooring, and strengthened the feel of the wooden floor already inplace! I would definately consider using again!

Nice smooth finish. Light weight but relatively strong. I use this material to build shipping crates. I often have the 4 x 8 sheet cut down at the store which makes it easier to handle (and a bit cheaper than the smaller sheets which are also available).

Perfect underlayment for my sheet vinyl project

I love this product. Used a table saw to cut, but was thin enough to cut with an exacto knife for specific cuts around outlets. Was looking for something different to do in this small space. Worked out perfectly. Love my hallway.

Great for wall paneling. Takes stain well... you can do a whole wall under 200$ including stain.
