Absolutely Love the Taste and Quality of the Carfe
I was a long time Berkey user despite the metallic taste and bulky/ugly metal. I switched to Culligan Zero and it was cheap plastic that burned through filters so fast it was better to buy water in f gallon containers, plus the water had a plastic taste. I upgraded to the AquaTru Glass Carafe and wish I did a long time ago. I love the taste, the glass is easy to care for and it operates quickly and smoothly. Very high quality and I highly recommend it.

Water tank difficult
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The water tank does not seat properly. The top of the tank leans forward making the lid not close all the way. You have to play around with the tank in order to even get it to close,leaving a gap. See photos

The tap water tank does not fit
The back water tank does not sit tight on the lower lip. Therefore the lid sits straight up and does cover the opening. It does not align.
It does a fine job of purifying the water.

Filtering seems efficient and size works for 1bed Apt
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had limited space and still rent so getting a counter unit was a must have. After tons of research we landed on the Carafe, setup was easy with the most annoying part having to hand wash everything with soap and water before you. . but I get it. So far the filtering works great, we updated to the app so the alerts are helpful, and the water tastes really crisp.
Very happy with our purchase!
Didn’t give 5 stars due to cost and ongoing maintenance will make this purchase the most expensive in the category.

Issues with lid closing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Altho, I like the concept of a counter water filter I’m annoyed with the lid not closing when the tank is on. Fiddling and trying to get the lid to close properly has been an annoyance. I don’t know if anyone else has this issue or I have a faluting water filter with a lid that won’t close right. 😔😒

Water taste great! Product came
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Water taste great! Product came was delivered quick. Easy set up instructions. For anyone having problem connecting the machine thru the app, you need to connect to a 2. 4ghz to make it work. Fortunately, my internet device lets me make a guest account, I changed the setting to 2. 4ghz and it worked!
This machine is so worth getting! I got the extra carafe so I have 1 that’s on the fridge and 1 that’s on the machine. I highly recommend this product!

I own 2 of these and love my first. My most recent purchase does not allow the water tank to ‘seat’ all the way down, so the cover rarely goes down all the way……. an annoyance.

So happy with this purchase.
So happy with this purchase. With a small discount and 3 affirm payments, it was an easy choice to make.
The water tastes great! In my community, there is a large amount of added fluoride in our water along with so much chlorine you can smell it coming out of the tap along with a musty smell.
It is a reassurance to know that I am now drinking clean water with the containments and microplastic out.
Even my coffee tastes better.
The countertop unit is so practical and easy to use. I also purchased an extra carafe so I will always have enough water on hand.

What I don’t like is
What I don’t like is that I am throwing almost half a tank of water down the drain with every filling! I just set it up and ran water through it four time, as per the instructions, and had to dump the rest of the tank each time! That’s a lot of water being wasted!!! I live in a brought prone area so wasting water is not what I want to do.
I’m sorry! I want to return the Aquatru.

Very simple to setup and use this RO system. It has a small footprint with an easy to maneuver design. The taste of this water is what I imagine the gods drink. It makes the coffee that much better too. Highly recommend the alkaline filter. Aquatru has made me an incredibly happy customer.

I waited to write this review... and after using the Carafe for a month... I LOVE it! Compact, fits under my cupboards & the water tastes great! I did purchase the alkaline mineral boost filter. I'm saving a LOT of money, no longer purchasing bottled Spring Water! My upper cabinets do not allow for the sliding tray :( But, I placed one of my 100% cotton reusable paper towels under the carafe and it slides in/out from the back of the counter just fine! :) Another tip for you... is to check out the cool Mason Jar handle & pour lids! I keep 1 or 2 quart jars of my Carafe water in them... as well as keeping the Carafe full. That way I have plenty of water for my 6-cup coffee maker, etc... The last note I have is in regards to the "speed" of the reverse osmosis process. Seriously, it only takes about 10 minutes. Super fast!!!... and quiet! Have a great day! Renee
