Burnt up after 13 Months of use
Luckily we were home when the unit decided to burn up, and we caught the electric fire before it spread to the rest of the house, lots of smoke as the ATMOR unit melted down and water leaking out the bottom of the unit. Called the company and was informed it was over the one year warranty by one month and was not their problem.

    Good in line water heater
The unit is compact, installation was good as I am an electrician, for the regular DIYs it may be a challenge. I have the unit on the highest setting however to get the temperature needed I had to adjust the inlet flow according. It performs as described. Cheers!

Worked excellent for my cabins needs.
For 3 people in a house hold it worked as advertised. Here in mid south I started at 115 degrees and it was scalding hot coming out. takes a second but not bad to get hot with about 50 foot of water line to shower from unit.

The Atmor Electric Tankless Water Heater is efficient and compact! Fits perfectly under a sink, utility room, closet, wherever. Works great for a bathroom that is on the other end of a house or far from the hot water tank. This water heater works inline with your current plumbing and is activate when water flow is detected. This gives you instant hot water until the hot water from your main tank reaches this location. Great size and affordable to run!

Just recently received this tankless water heater by ATMOR. It is a 13000 Watt and 240 volt heater which includes a pressure relief valve The Continuous Flow of hot water activates with water flow and unlike gas water heaters you can install this just about anywhere as it requires no venting. It does however require a 60 amp double pole dedicated breaker and a 240-volt connection. Also required are standard half inch straight thread water connectors. This water heater can also be installed indoors or out. It has four settings, off, low, medium and high. The hardest part is going to be drilling through your house and adding the number 10 wire from the fuse box to the heater. The great part is going to be not having to waste water while waiting for actual hot water to come out of your faucet! Fortunately my partner is in construction and can do all of the plumbing , drilling and wiring. You may have to hire someone to do all that for you. Overall, it's a yes from me.

The Atmore under sink hot water heater is a cinch to install under the sink, it gives me hot water as quick as I open the hot water handle. I use to wait a whole minute to get good hot water and now it is as fast as turning the handle. No more wasted water while waiting for it to warm up. The installation is very simple and the instructions are very clear to give you the do's and do not's for connecting it. The hardest part is running the #10 wire from the fuse box through the wall and under the counter.

This is a very compact little water heater like you would find mounted under a sink. Construction quality is good with almost all plastic components. No assembly required other than attaching the included pressure relief device. Pressure rating is adequate for any normal residential water service. Water flow for rated heating performance is low but is estimated adequate for a low volume shower. This device would be great for a half bath or a utility sink or single shower stall in a remote location like a garage which is where I will use mine. Water side hookup is easy with only two screwed fittings. Electrical requires 240V service.

This well-designed and compact water heater is 12 inches wide, 7 inches high and 4 inches deep. At the bottom are two 3/4 inch threaded connections - blue one for cold inlet and a red one for the hot outlet. My new sink with dispenser has not yet arrived so the output result cannot be evaluated at this time. The front panel dial gives you four choices - Off, Low, Medium and High.

The ATMOR 13,000 Watt/240-Volt 2.25 GPM Electric Tankless Water Heater Includes Pressure Relief Device, Ideal for a Full Bathroom appears to be exactly what it is titled it you look at the front side of the box only. Either your bathroom needs to already have multiple specifications before installing this unit, or you'll need an electrician to complete all of the necessary adjustments so that this will work (it needs its own outlet, must be at least 240v, and if that isn't already in your bathroom, you'll also have to make changes to your circuit breaker so that the newly installed outlet can handle it).

Armor 13,000 Watt 2.26 GPM Electric Tankless Water Heater, that includes a pressure relief device, and is ideal for a full bathroom, was highly recommended to us by a professional, for use in our finished basement. Not installed yet, so I’m relying on expert advice to write this review. The install is quite simple and straightforward, instructions included. The unit carries a 2 year warranty, and 7 year warranty against leaks. No more paying to heat water that you’re not using, as this unit heats water on demand. This will save on utility bills quite nicely! Others, who have this unit, have reported to us no issues and are happy with the tankless heater. So we expect the same results.

The most important thing is to read the instructions before you purchase. If your hooking up to very cold well water your going to be disappointed! We are in Florida and have well water but our water is not extremely cold like you would find in northern states. I wanted this for my garage sink. I don’t use the hot water long but like to wash my dirty hands in the garage and leave any mess out there. I have ample hot water from this unit. I also clean various parts which require warm to hit water and this unit works great! I also clean and filet fish in the garage so hot water is a must for cleaning up! I needed minimal parts to complete my installation. I already had the wiring and circuit breaker in place when the unit arrived. Plumbing hookup was simple. Has three settings. I have been switching the setting and tried all three. Finally sticking with the middle setting as that seems to fit my needs. Warranty of 2 years on parts and 7 years on leaking is very good. Overall I am extremely happy with the unit!

Received the Atmor 13,000 watt 240 volt 2.25 gpm electric tankless water heater that includes a pressure relief device, but sad to say cant install as has now to hook up that meets National Electric Code requirements. For on has a metal ko connection plate to mount on a wall then you are to run a conduit to that plate and run bare wires to the electric water heater, but that needs to be in conduit and then it provides to holes in the back of heater to run wire thru, by code you can run wires exposed, so I will not install as only place to drill a KO is on the removable front cover and that will make it so you cant service the unit or reinstall the cover with the conduit installed

First, it works great. I had no issues with the installation or operation. Once it was plumbed and wired it was just a matter of setting the temp with the external control valve and turning on the water. If you look at the video you should be able to see the steam rising from the hot water. I guess I need to dial it back a bit, a little too hot. Unfortunately where I had to mount it didn't leave me enough space to photograph the steps along the way or the finished installation. I'm happy to have it mounted where it is but I had to become a contortionist to install it, My fault, not the heater's. They thing I didn't like is all of the plastic. It feels cheap and brittle. The pressure relief valve is completely plastic. Please go gently when installing this. The price is fantastic but you get what you pay for. In this case, I wish I had paid more to get a sturdier heater. It works great and where I have it is well protected from everything. Overall, it's cheap and brittle but it works fine

Was really looking forward to installing this booster water heater but this product is not made or would it be approved in the US, maybe the 20 amp to 30 amp units could be adapted to work, but this unit can not be installed to meet US NEC wiring codes I posted 1 picture with the #4 wire that would be needed to run this unit and they supply a plate for a connector but no place to put the connector and no location on the non removable plate will allow you to install the connector for 2 #4 & 1 #10 ground wire and is no connection to ground the unit only the so-called connector plate, leaving the electrical parts of the unit to draw overload or short and would have to short for at least 3 min. to trip the breaker. I am any elec. eng and master electrician and I would not install this unit as is a fire hazard. This might be approved in other countries but no in the US

I’ve had 2 of these units in the past 3-4 years. Roughly 18 months after the initial unit was installed, it started tripping its internal switches. I’d reset whichever one popped and go about my business. After a while of this I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me a new unit. Great customer service! However, The same thing happened in roughly the same amount of time. I’m back to resetting tripped switches. Oh, and 2 wires that go into the switch that keeps tripping have started melting away at their insulation. When I went to check the terminal for a loose connection, the plastic housing broke around that switch. I’m guessing the constant heating and cooling of the plastic made it brittle.

          exploded again
This is the SECOND time this water heater exploded in a fountain of steam and electric sparks in my house. The first time I returned and replaced. The second time, of course happens 13 months after, just outside the warranty period. I could sue for water damages but I have better things to do with my time. You can see how often this company discontinues their products... it's no coincidence.

Instant unlimited hot water sounds like a nice feature of this Hotap product by Atmor. On the packaging it claims to be suitable for Utilities, Commercial, RV and Car wash use. However I found this product to lack the quality that I would expect for such long term use. The faucet itself claims to be made of glass filled polymer. It feels like cheap plastic that rubs on cheap plastic when adjusting the faucet right to left. The plastic threads for the plastic aerator that unscrews to accept a garden hose isn’t what I would expect to last. The installation instructions state that you can install the unit two ways, one with the supplied braided water line or with your existing supply line by using the supplied BSP ½” adaptor that it does not include. The BSP ½” connection on the supplied braided hose did not thread onto the tap easily. The handle does not indicate off, only cold and hot, although the off position is when the handle is placed in the full cold position. This unit requires a dedicated 30 amp circuit for power. I would not put the effort into installation of a dedicated power circuit for this product.

I selected this item based upon a snippet that did not mention any issue with the temperature of the local water. I expected to have it installed at my kitchen sick, where it would provide instant hot water for tea, etc. I find that this unit will not provide the hot water I had expected because I am in northern Virginia on cold well water. I am disappointed and will look into returning this unit. I can say, however, I had good, responsive contact with my Home Depot source and the company associate. It seems like a nice faucet with features and applications that would make it useful to those with warmer water to start with. Other people interested in the HoTap should consider their environment before purchasing.

NOTE: This product is for areas of the country that have inlet water above 60 degrees. This product is not made for colder weather areas or winter states. Well-water as well as "city water" in the colder states are typically very cold (much below the 60 degree requirement) so this faucet will not heat the water to desired hot temperatures. Take note of that before ordering this model. I will be going to my Southern Nevada home soon for the remainder of the winter and I have a small "tiki" bar in my condo's back yard that only has cold water running to it. I plan to use this faucet at the outdoor sink so that I have warm/hot water for washing the party dishes, washing my tiny dog and cleaning up after working in my garden. Much more convenient than doing these things in my condo. This faucet is rated for indoor/outdoor use. The faucet itself is quite large (see pics). If you have a sink with more than one hole, this faucet will overhang most "hole covers" (not included in package). You can also attach a 3/4" garden hose at the spout (for free flowing water only) to conveniently fill up small pools, etc... I've attached a picture of the specs required for installation. Package includes a stainless steel flexible hose in which the black BSP fitting connects to the faucet pipe and the white NPT fitting connects to your water supply. It's recommended that you have this installed by a professional since there may be a need for changes in your wall receptacle. This faucet plugs into a 20 amp receptacle or gets hardwired. This turned out to be more work than I anticipated for installation so I'm hoping my electrician can easily install this when I get to my condo. All in all, I think this product is fine. I'm excited to use this soon!

This tankless water heater faucet is a great idea. I like that it makes hot water available any where there is a water supply. It's great for exterior installation. I didn't need to hardwire it because it has a power supply cord that has a plug which connects into an outlet or extension. The body is made with heavy duty, heat-resistant ABS polymer. A garden hose can be connected to the spout so I can still use a hose at the location where I installed it. The water temperature is controlled by the amount of water flow, so slowing the flow increases temperature. ( Turning valve towards the hot position slows flow. If there is too high of volume of flow just adjust the supply faucet.) Includes all the hardware to install on any sink.

This an amazing addition to my kitchen. Delivers hot water in second, the water flow activates the heater and will supply hot water as long as it is on. It uses a 110 volt ac electrical supply, from a 20 amp receptacle. the theater is 1.8 kilowatts. The faucet is made of ABS polymer plastic, resists breaking. The spout has a hose attachment for a 3/4" garden hose. It can be used in the kitchen, the garage, work sop, bath house, practically anywhere hot water is needed. It is designed for indoors or outdoors. Comes with all installation instructions and needed hardware.

Ideas are nice, but implementation has to be there. This tankless heated faucet unit was a nice idea in theory. Saw that it draws 15amps of current @ 120v. So, to be extra sure, plugged it in on a 20 amp circuit. Good thing I did a test run before locking it down on final fit, because the thing failed to heat. At most the built in heating element gets the water up to a lukewarm ~75 degrees. My guess is, the thermostat cutoff was not tuned right(too low of a temp) or the heating element is failing somewhere. It is simply not even getting close to 120 degrees, which is the indicated thermal cutoff. Giving this unit 1 star for an otherwise decent build quality. But if your main selling point(heating capability) isn’t working, then QC needs to catch these kinds of issues earlier on.

The concept of this 2-in-1 electric tankless water heater faucet is a good one but poorly executed. I was looking forward to a heated water faucet that I could install in my remote workshop by running a cold water line only to the shop from my house water source and having the benefit of both hot and cold water. The faucet also boasts a removable aerator with garden hose thread so you can attach a garden hose directly to it for hot water. Unfortunately, there are several issues with the faucet that make the installation a problem. First of all, it came perfectly boxed but missing parts. The pipe connection on the faucet is British Standard Pipe (BSP) whereas the standard in the United States is National Pipe Thread (NPT). The adapter identified as included in the instructions was missing so you are forced to use the included hose which has BSP connections on one end and NPT connections on the other end. The hose that came with the faucet was also missing one of the gaskets that complete the seal so the hose was useless in that situation. The alternatives were to contact the manufacturer (which I did) and wait for the parts or a new faucet to arrive or go out and purchase the needed components to complete my installation. Additionally, there is a pedestal for the base that in my opinion has a design flaw which makes a good installation very challenging (see pictures). The customer service person at Paragon Group was sympathetic to my situation but was unable to provide a quick solution to the problem. Once these issues are resolved, I will be happy to provide an additional review as to the faucet's performance. This product is not made in the USA.

This instantaneous heat water faucet is a decent attempt at point of service hot water. It looks nice, and has enough power to heat small amounts of water (.5 gallon per minute @ 30 degree rise). The handle allows for a variety of temperatures and flow amounts. The faucet itself can swivel for easier use. The aerator when taken off allows for a garden hose to be screwed onto it. Now the lesser portions of my rating. The main structure of this faucet is made entirely of plastic despite its metal look. I would worry a lot about breaking it when using a hose attached to it, as the plastic is not very heavy either. The electric hookup requires a permanent 30 Amp 120 volt line to be used (hard wired only). That is a fairly rare home circuit and most likely will require a new circuit to be installed by an electrician. But if you are careful with this unit and can get the required wiring to it, then it will eliminate running a hot water line to the location which you want to use it in from a main water heater source. So it looks nice, could be more convenient than adding new plumbing for hot water, and has the hose spigot nozzle.

I was so much hoping that this thing would work, but I just couldn’t get it to, plus it has a few odd things about it, so I can only rate it 2 stars and I really do not recommend it. Maybe you’ll have better luck than me. All I wanted was to not waste so much water while waiting for hot water to flow just to wash my face and hands and to shave. I was using a bucket to collect the water, and then water the house plants with it. The first thing is that this faucet does not have a pass through for the sink drain rod that operates the drain poppet. So if you use this faucet in the bath sink, you have to think about how you will fill the sink, if that is what you do for your bath sink routine. My bathroom sink is a three hole sink. This unit is a single hole unit, and no base plate escutcheon is included in the box. Plus, the faucet is about 3” in diameter at the base, and it hung over the base plate and looked odd. I could live with that, though. But the two odd mounting plates that go under the sink were real big and would not fit under my bathroom sink. It made the faucet sit crooked. So I finally cut the end off one of the plates to make it fit. Most sink water shutoff valves under the sink are made for a 3/8” water line. Oddly, this faucet only includes a 1/2” line, so you might be making a few trips to the store to make this thing work as I did. Also plan for your electrical hookup too. I needed a plug end to plug into the socket under the sink. But the biggest problem with this faucet is, I just could not get any usable hot water to flow. The red LED came on, I could hear the unit click on, but after running gallons into a bucket, the best I could do was 74-75 degree water. I used the lowest flow rate on the faucet, then I tried shutting the shut-off valve under the sink to lower the flow rate even more, but all that did was shut the unit off (LED off) because I assume the unit works on a flow switch. The specifications and instructions list no temperature rise that I could find, but my cold water temperature into the unit was right at 50F degrees. The warmest water was 75F, with arise of 25F. That’s not enough to shave with. Not sure if I got a bad unit, but mine would not fill a swimming pool with hot water by using a garden hose like the pictures on the outside of the box show. Plan your installation wisely, And I hope it works for you.

              Poor Quality
I am a licensed electrician and installing this unit was very difficult. It really isn't set up well to wire. Once I got it installed electrically, the plumbing part was fine. It worked great for several months and then started to cut out after about 4 - 5 minutes of use. Finally, it quit entirely. I opened it up and the internal wires had melted. I got my $115.00 dollars worth out of the unit, so I am just going to buy a different brand and hope for better results. I would not recommend this unit if you want long term use and easy install. I used it 3 - 4 times a week for about 5 minutes and only got about 8 months of use.

                Dangerous Junk
It lasted about 2 years of very light use in a workshop bathroom. Recently I started smelling a burnt plastic smell whenever the Atmor 6.5KW water heater was running. Today it quit working altogether. The water flow detector still clicks when you turn on the tap but the switches on the unit do not light up and it does not heat the water. I checked the power connection and there is live 240 VAC present. I popped the outer case off to find burnt wires, charring and damage to the heater assembly.

Setup was the same as my old ecosmart27 heater so working on it was the same. easy. little smaller in size. And a lil less wattage but this still held up strong. Hot water comes really fast and stays hot. I run only one shower.. but while using the shower and washing laundry the hot water never cut out. It's really good so far. Hopefully it last long.
