Received the boxes a month ago and opened them last week to install. The tank lid is broken in 2 pieces. I contacted American Standard twice to send a new lud and have not heard back!!

Because of the enclosed back there is no way to tighten the loose toilet seat! This is insane! I can’t see or reach the but to tighten or remove the seat so we are stuck and considering having to change the whole toilet unit.

The aesthetics were paramount in the designer's mind, NOT usability or repairability. The simple act of replacing the fill valve becomes an impossibility. The locknut cannot be accesses when the toilet is installed against a wall, as ALL toilets ARE!

Easy to install. It stays so clean, also love the soft close lid.It adds such a modern look to our small bathroom.

The bowl water level is very low, and causing waste to stick to the side. We read the Instruction Manual that came with it and found no help there. After troubleshooting and researching for a long time, I called American Standard customer support and came away with an unconvincing answer. Then a neighbor told us they have the same toilet, and to hold down the handle while flushing. We then realized that if we just "hit and go" as with regular toilets, it doesn't use up the whole tank of water to flush. So now we hold down the handle and the problem is solved, but (1) the manual should have told us about that, (2) having the bowl water level higher would be better in the first place.

Concealed trapway makes cleaning easy. The round-front seat seems a little small but I don't have room for elongated toilet. Flushing is very powerful and quick and not very noisy at all.

I didn't install it, so I can't speak to ease of installation. I like the way this toilet looks. I read a lot of reviews about folks complaining about the seat. I personally find no issues with it. I love that it releases with a click so you can clean it! That was always a pet peeve with other toilet seats that you couldn't clean in the parts that needed it the most. This toilet is basically dual flush if you hold the lever down a bit longer. The flush is pretty powerful and it rinses the bowl nicely. I'm happy with it and would re-order this toilet again for the other bathrooms in my house.

I titled this as my number two toilet because it is the second one I purchased. The first was with the elongated bowl for our master bath and recently the round bowl for our guest bath. The toilet is very heavy compared to the standard toilets we replaced, but the ease of installation was as simple as 123. We had the first toilet installed by a plumber, it took him about 40 minutes, my wife and I installed the current one and it took us about 15 minutes. Honest. Oh, I also put down Ivory Travatine vinyl floor I bought at Home Depot before installing the new toilet.

Attractive units. Modern appearance. Narrower width which gives more room in a small bath. These do not hug the wall as close as the old units after installation, due to smaller tank. I don't really care for the sound it makes when it flushes, sounds like a "near flush" on the old toilets, but it is much quieter overall in operation and tank refills much more quickly. These pieces are quite heavy and placement is more difficult with the enclosed trap sides. I would recommend these for new construction or replacement in your home.

Had it for over a month. Replaced 14" height with comfort height toilets and selected the American Standard Cadet 3 Flowise-2-piece 1.28 GPF single flush unit with concealed trapway in white. It wasn't available in our local Home Depot, so ordered it on line. The unit arrived within a week in two separate boxes. Including removal of the old toilet, I Installed the new one by myself in about two hours. As seen in the picture, there wasn't a lot of room to work, but it was enough. Following the instructions carefully, insured the seat was secure. Much more comfortable to sit on and get off. Flush is terrific - no more double (or triple) flushes. Liked it enough to buy and install a second one.

Easy to clean since entire plumbing is encased and seat detaches to reach entire rim. Unsure about performance. have to hold handle down for complete flush. Maybe this is due to the water efficiency aspect.

With a small bath, this toilet is perfect. And the fact that it has concealed trap is priceless. Makes cleaning so much easier. Very easy to install. It's also water sensible, which is always a plus. The seat is also great, in that it lowers slowly, and doesn't just slam down.

Loving this toilet. Easy to clean with the solid outside walls, and the chair height is wonderful!

I've only had this for a month but love it! Sleek design, easy to clean both toilet and floor around it. It's got a strong flush with a lot less water. Flushed everything we've managed to put in it, lol. Not a big fan of the seat. It's got a lot of nooks and cranny's to clean underneath. The slow close is nice. No more seat slamming down. Smaller than the old toilet it replaced. There's only one thing; thought it would fit closer to the wall so nothing could get back in there, like the cat. Had to block the opening with the toilet brush holder. Other than that, no regrets. Highly recommend. We did have a plumber install it. Took about an hour.

The item was damaged. This is the second time this item arrived damaged. Very disappointed.

Works well. Flushes quickly. I really enjoy the added height. It is a very narrow toilet. I would prefer more shelf space on the tank to put tissues, etc. on.

Who gets a toilet for Christmas? I do! It actually arrived at the store about 10 days after it was ordered. My husband brought it home in his truck. The tank was in one box and the bowl was in another. My husband read the PDF before installing it so he knew what he needed to have in order to install it. Installation was straightforward. One tricky part was keeping the long screws from the floor flange straight while the bowl was being lowered onto them. The other somewhat challenging part was putting the nuts onto the screws that hold the base to the floor. The nut kept falling off and rolling just out of hubby’s reach; my long fingers came in handy for that part of the installation. We are very pleased with the toilet and its function. A big plus is a quieter flush than the toilet we removed. The seat height is perfect and I am delighted with the ease in cleaning the outside as well! It has exceeded our expectations. I read the other reviews and was worried about even ordering the product. However, pre-planning for the removal of the old toilet and preparing for the new one is key, in my opinion. Read and understand the PDF that Home Depot provides (on-line), get your tools and the hose beforehand and installation should go well. Instructions also come in the box with the toilet.

Update to my previous review with the broken tank lid. (I could not find how to remove my previous rating & review.) I did receive a new lid, but there was no communication whatsoever from the company that they were sending it. Also, it clogged horribly with the first large bowel movement. Took plunging after plunging after plunging to finally dislodge. Disappointed as that was one of my reasons for purchasing this model.

Not installed yet, but impressed with speediness of delivery, customer service and delivery guy!

This is a very nice toilet at a very competitive price compared to other brands and other retail outlets. The only complaint I have is that the (2 piece) toilet was shipped in two separate shipments, arriving at two different days but there was only on tracking number for the two shipments. So this was confusing and I had to call customer care for clarification.

Love this toilet. The tank is narrow, perfect height, flushes great, and easy cleaning with the skirted base.

Works better than expected and quiet. Good flush action. But guess it wasn't an easy install and including a tool to tighten the floor mounting bolts would be a nice addition.
