Hi PParker, thank you for your review. I'm so sorry to hear about your poor experience with our Urethane Alkyd Enamel. Your satisfaction is important to us, and we want to help you achieve positive results. Typically, paint will cover in 1-2 coats, but porous surfaces and drastic color transitions. The paint should provide a self-leveling finish to help reduce brush marks and provide a smooth finish, so it's odd that this happened. When taping off a surface, we recommend removing the tape while the paint is still wet at a 45-degree angle. If the paint has dried, we recommend scoring the edge of the tape with a razor blade. If you're trying to tape over fresh paint, we recommend letting the surface dry for at least 24 hours before using low-tack tape. To fix the surface, I recommend letting the paint dry before sanding the surface to remove any loose coating. Then, make sure the surface is clean and dry before touching up the area. If needed for uniformity, recoat the surface. I understand this was unexpected, and we want to help turn this around. Please reach out to us directly so we can learn more about your project and assist you further. We hope to hear from you soon! -Lina
