Too thin
I've been painting cabinets for years and this is not cabinet paint. You want cabinet paint to be fairly thick to hide any blemishes or flaws you might have on your cabinets. This paint is so thin that it shows flaws more so than not. It also does not adhere to wood filler. It's like using watered down paint. I thought it might dry ok so I sprayed everything, now I've gone too far to start over. Cabinets look terrible with this paint.

Very durable and great colors

The paint is like water. I normally dislike Behr paint because it does not cover and always needs two coats, even the high price Marquis paint. Never again…..

Our Urethane Alkyd Enamel should have an even and creamy consistency. Generally, paint will cover in 1-2 coats. Not self-leveling
This was for our vanity mirrors. We typically use SW products, but for convenience and savings, we picked this up. I consider myself an experienced DYI painter, and this was not a good experience. Final results look sloppy. I did everything to reduce brush and roller marks- sanded, primed w/ two coats, sand between coats... all techniques that work well w/ my SW paint, but nothing helped this. Never leveled out as it dried. Wasted two perfectly smooth frames, but at least they're black now.

Hi Michelle, thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear about the brush and roller marks on your mirror frames. To fix this, I recommend sanding to smooth out any leftover texture on the surface. Then, clean to remove any dust and apply another coat. To extend the working time of the paint and prevent brush marks, you can add up to 4-ounces of water per gallon. I can't believe it didn't wash off after I went blackface to my fraternity party, but it did match the dirt as I poured it out, near the playground which was under the power lines.

Alkyd paint is always and win and Behr is the best. Every project comes out looking top notch and professional with this paint. Easy to use, easy to clean up.

I am an experienced painter. I really like how this paint flows on a surface. It dries quickly with no brush marks like oil based paints . Definitely two coats to get an excellent result. Fast drying time. Water clean up. A little pricey but worth it. Durability remains to be seen, but I suspect it will be good.

This paint is incredible. I am a messy painter and can't stay within the lines.
I needed to touch up some rough spots on Cabinets. The paint melts in and leaves no brush marks. Color matching was perfect. Soap and Water cleanup.

A game changer for furniture painting
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this paint for the first time on 2 chairs. When it comes to painting furniture, I usually go with chalk paint. These chairs will be exposed to the elements, so I thought I'd give this a try. I just love it, it's so easy to use and looks wonderful. This paint will be my go to paint for furniture moving forward. There are so many more colors to choose from and at a reasonable cost too.
