Manufacturing issue
I’ve used Brass Craft products and never had a problem. Purchased (3) G2R17X C1 and installed them as usual. They all three had slow leaks where the 1/2” nipple screwed into the water stop. Spent two days trying to figure this out. Tried Multiple different numbers of wraps of Harvey and Blue Monster Teflon tape and tight and loose connections. Finally noticed the nipple wouldn’t screw very far into the water stop. Went back and got Shark Bite water stops and the nipple screwed in about twice as far. No leaks with the Shark Bites!
