Control board seems to have failed already

I have owned this unit for two weeks now. The weather has not been too cold lately, but on some chilly days I ran trying to figure it out before winter sets in. I have only gone through 7 bags so far and having serious problems. It ran great the first three days, and been trouble ever since. About 40 minutes after start up, it gives a high temp alarm and shuts down. I have been emailing Comfort Bilt and they gave me suggestions on what to do. I have tried running in manual mode and thermostat mode. I have been playing with and adjusting the settings for exhaust and blower voltages along with the feed rates but nothing seem to be working. For the first 40 minutes the stove is great, after that it's just a decoration piece in the corner of the room. May be packing it back up this week and returning if I can't figure it out.

Great stove and easy install. Not hard to operate. Very happy !!

This hopper might hold 55 lbs. however the angle does allow the pellets to fall when the hopper is low hence create a low fuel and shut off. In addition, no Owner Manual was provided. The deliver company only had a 35" trailer and I have in a resident. In addition, no truck lift to take the pellet stove off and told me I need to figure this out

I got one of these at a discount place and man IT IS GREAT! What a wonderful cheap way to heat! The years of firewood or propane are finally over! Heats our 1400 sq, ft, home excellent in near 0 weather. This unit would have paid for itself in 2 years compared to what I have had to pay for firewood etc. No mess, no bugs, no getting up at night to feed the stove, much less storage space for fuel, An awesome alternative! Fill it, clean it, forget it! Well made, great performance, I don't know how I did without it. Just do what it says for cleaning/ maintenance and it works flawlessly! Get a small shopvac to clean it and use premium pellets and you will love this stove!

stoves is a beast very good product it has a timer feature but it's only 1 to 7 hours why they couldn't have made it for 12 hours I'll never know but the stove is a beast. why can't I add a photo this website sucks

Very nice looking stove. Works good. Only issue booklet of directions is terrible about how to put in. Had issues with putting off smell. Would recommend to run outside to burn off smell.

Very well made and designed. This replaced my 15 year old Enviro EF-II. The Enviro was good the Comfortbilt HP22 blows it out of the water. Heating efficiency is excellent, auto ignition works great and the amply deep burn pot easily goes 12+ hours of continuous burning without overflowing with ash.

We did a lot of research and decided on this one. Very easy to get started BUT the controls are NOT the same as the directions or the videos. Still have not figured it all out. Still like it much better than the Harmon we had. You also have to clean it a lot more.

Doesn’t burn pellets fast enough to keep up with the amount of pellets falling into the basket so it ends up turning it’s self off due to it getting backed up.

It doesn't burn very well when it's cold and it just keeps feeding pellots and builds up then the heat goes away

Problem with bolt and vent alignment in back panel beside that a great stove. Works great, easy to clean love it.

I have had mixed luck with my unit, I think it is getting the settings correct. The biggest issue is the owners manual tells how to access the settings, it just does not give any information on what the numbers represent to the different functions of the stove. My unit also has a different digital control unit than the one in the owners manual. Not sure if I got a newer unit or a older one. Maybe a part manufacture change. I did reach out to the company via email ( I thought this would be more convenient for them opposed to tying up a tech and phone line, shame on me) with no response, I have sent 3 to date. I will try to figure out what the setting values affect the stove by trial and error. I have this unit in my garage and did not want to spend more on a "fancy" unit for this environment. I have had a few cheap units and they did not last long, hopefully this one does. My recommendation is due to the fact it seems well constructed. My 3 star rating is due to confusing manual and the fact that the company has my money and now the customer service takes a back seat.

Good product but would be better if they packaged the system with an updated Operator's Manual...the manual I got referenced an older controller version.

Very quiet, simple to install. Easy burn pot cleanup.

My husband installed this stove two days ago. The stove looks very good in our log home and I believe it would look good in almost any setting. Warm and easy to use. So far, love it!!

Excellent product. The blower works very well and pushes the heat around the home. Easy to use. I would strongly recommend to read the manual first and understand daily weekly monthly yearly maintenance.

We had to order a new blower/fan for the stove because it never worked. After we received the new blower and my husband installed it, it will not "ignite" on the first try. We always have to start it up a second time for it to "ignite". Keep in mind I do clean it every 3 days.... So far I'm not overly impressed.
