Tilt hardware is junk. Do not buy this
I mounted a 32 inch tv that weighs less than 20 pounds. This mount says it will work for a tv up to 60 pounds. No way. I followed the instructions to the letter.
Step 10-adjusting the handle (setting tv tilt). The instructions say to turn the handle clockwise until it stops, pull out the handle and turn clockwise (basically working like a ratchet), push the handle back in, and turn the handle clockwise again to continue tightening. Repeat this process until the tv is secured tightly. I repeated as instructed warily. Every time the handle was tightened, the tv tilted down again unless my hand was there to hold it level.
Obviously at some point threads will eventually strip. The tv never got tight and those threads stripped as expected. This should have been designed with a pin to lock instead of a single threaded screw to hold the weight upright.
If you’re ok with a tv that will always be tilted as far down as it will go, this is fine. I wanted it level; but obviously I won’t have that now. If you want full motion, pay the extra price for a better brand. It will be worth it.

If you follow the instructions to lock the handle, but it wasn't locked tightly,we think the reason may be that the other side screw loose, you can use the equipped Allen key to tight it. If the above method you finished but still slips, please take some detailed photos for us to judge.

Solid mount
I used it to mount a 55" Sony to a brick fireplace. Probably overkill, but that's OK. This is a very heavy, solid, mount. It is completely assembled and comes with a huge assortment of fasteners and hardware, including lag screws and inserts for installation on brick/masonry and spacers and machine screws for your TV's VESA mounting holes. The swivel and tilt functions work well, and you can adjust the level of the TV a few degrees if the mount is not installed perfectly level. Very happy with the mount.
