We installed two of these on a second floor balcony. Installation was definitely easier on the second one but both took longer than the manufacturer estimate of 20 minutes. We are very satisfied with the shades. Our balcony gets an almost constant wind but the tie downs work just fine to keep them in place. We do roll them up when they are not in use.

We've had our 2 shades for about 3 weeks now and we love them. The patio feels cooler with them and the shades change the ambience to a nice peaceful feeling. They do a great job blocking the sun too. We have wind (mild to medium) every day and these shades hold up well. We have them tied down with bungee cords so they are very sturdy.

The product exactly meets my needs which were to provide sun block on the west side of my deck and provide a little privacy from neighbor’s windows. It was easy to install by myself and looks great. Color matches the Coolaroo canopy sun shade I bought last year.

I purchased 2 of these to replace 2 others that lasted 16 years. These are superior to the ones I replaced because these have a crank system to raise and lower the shade instead of the pully system that kept getting harder to raise the shade. The pullies finally broke under the stain.

Fit perfectly based on the measurements. I like that it can be anchored when down. Exactly what I was looking for to have privacy yet airflow!

its gone to work great, EZ installation. It's gone to help block the afternoon hot sun from coming through the the glass doors.

Shades look very nice and serves the purpose when they are in the down position. But…they stretch very easily and don’t roll up evenly.

Keeps the sun off the porch and it was easy to setup.

We are loving these shades! Fairly easy to install, look great and really make a difference in the sunrays and temperature hitting our porch.

We have purchased two other Coolaro shades that have served us very well on our outdoor deck. This one came with nothing to hold it down and it behaves like a sail even with the slightest breeze, rendering it useless, though I’m sure my husband can jury rig something. Just disappointed considering the price.

I really like the blinds. They are simple to install and simple to use. I only gave 4 stars because they didn’t have blinds to fit our windows so we have to cope with some Sun coming in.
