The best of the best in portátil table saw.

I bought this in the winter of 2020. Reviews on this site and other sites have said that the miter gauge is made of cheap plastic. Mine was made out of aluminum and metal. For a job site saw, this is really accurate. Out of the box, everything was perfect. All the accessories store within the saw, so storage in my garage is a breeze. I definitely recommend this! Thank you Home Depot for making curbside pickup safe and fast!

This DeWalt DWS7440RS Stand is AWESOME! I use it with my DWE7485 Compact Table Saw in my work shop. Tip up the Stand, fold up the legs and the Saw/Stand assembly tucks neatly out of the way. I originally questioned whether the DWE7485 would attach without some custom made attachment plate and I couldn't find that issue addressed anywhere on-line except images of folks making that plate. So, I purchased assuming I would be making a plate as well. Then I discovered that the DWE7485 has built in threaded attach points on the frame under those black plastic handles that allow direct attachment to this stand - OUTSTANDING!!! Back to the stand... It is solidly built, yet lightweight and portable. The wheels are very high quality - not just plastic lawn mower wheels. The fixed black legs with rubber tips beside the wheels are stout and support the weight of the assembly very securely when folded up for storage. The extending handle opposite the wheels make moving the assembly around very easy. Besides this setup, I also use the DWS779 Compound Miter Saw with the DWX724 Stand - another outstanding arrangement. DeWalt has nailed both these combinations and I am a huge fan. As a hobby woodworker I love using these tools. As a Aerospace Design Engineer, I am enormously impressed with the attention to detail, precision and quality that goes into the DeWalt line of products. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Cuts like butter. Fencing system is a dream to dial in. Perfect for the hobbyist/DIY woodworker but i imagine it will get the job done for many pros as well. I didnt like the stand options dewalt offers so i built an extension caddy on my work bench for this guy so i have an outfeed table as well.

Finally replaced my 20 year old table saw. Chose Dewalt over comparable Bosch. Happy with my choice. Smooth cuts, g Quiet and easy to move. Made a table for it when not at a site.

Very accurate and easy to use and compact,...good for big or small jobs

The DCS7485B is a great saw and is even better when paired with a great stand like the DW7440RS (Type 2), but the mounting of the saw on the stand is not directly compatible with each other. I have seen several videos of people modifying the saw or the stand to make them bolt up together, but after paying good money for a saw and stand, i didn't want to start drilling into it. Instead I decided to mount the saw to a sheet of 3/4" plywood using square u-bolts with clear tubing over them to get a nice secure clamp, then bolted the plywood to the metal saw mounts that came with the stand. I spent way more time on it than I probably should have, but I think it looks cleaner and is rock solid, there is no wobble. Check out the photos attached.

Ordered saw and cart combo. Saw setup was packed excellent, same goes for cart. The good: saw cuts absolutely straight with no adjustment needed. Ran a few test cuts. The cart, is well constructed. Home depot store pickup is amazing. It took just a few days, and I live in Hawaii, I got the saw 4 days before it was projected to arrive. The bad: the cart assembly instructions are horrible. It took me way too long. Without seeing one assembled, it's hard to determine rear and front for the directions. If you're wondering, rear would be the side you stand on if using the saw., the longer leg side. Mine came with one slightly wonky wheel. I used non oil bike chain lubricant on the wheel hubs. Mine also, had a concerning amount of rust inside the frame. I'm. Going to polish it with steel wool and hit it with oil. Just surface rust, but seeing little rust spots on the interior of the frame where one of the feet are (saw) is a little alarming. I picked up the saw today, and am posting today, so it's not like I waited awhile. I would suggest wd40 it, and covering the holes on the frame with black tape for anyone who buys one of these. Time will tell, if my sawframe rusts through. The feet, on the saw have a hole in it, to put the cart frame bolts through. Definitely wasn't intuitive, but in retrospect, it's a good idea. Keep in mind that the holes have a slight angle, maybe 1 degree to the outside. I like this saw, and for the price of the combo, I'm happy. Only 4 stars due to rust, wonky wheel, and poor assembly instructions. Assembly hardware is excellent though, and if you go slow, it's easy to assemble. I'm including pictures so you can have an idea what it looks like finished, which would have definitely helped. Not the side that the wheel is on to help assembly for anyone who needs it.
