A textured tile that is on the low end grade level. Did not know about grades until the installer explained. Up to 1/6 inch off in size variation which makes the setting & grouting more difficult and additional cost for installation. Also they had cupping in the tile, which made the setting more difficult & required thicker thinset. The look is nice and a grout line of 1/8" looks really good. Recommend the Miracalab 511 Impregnator sealer that Home Depot has also. 72 hour cure for the grout & then seal with Miracalab 1st time with attention to the grout line & then the entire floor with a final buff out for min. 2 hours before walking on & a total 72 hour cure before washing or moving anything heavy over it. Did our main floor of almost 650 sq. ft. it this tile. Glad the project is over and it would have been much easier if the tile were a higher quality. Live & learn everyday, but still like the look and feel of the tile. Kitchen tile by Emerson was a higher quality and true to size than Daltile and only 16 cents a sq. ft. difference. Good to check that out before full purchase.

I installed Daltile Asian Black 12 x 12 on my kitchen floor. The tile was easy to cut and work with. There is a lot of traffic in this area and it's holding up great so far. Easy to clean as well. It's a new installation so time will tell how well this product holds up. I have large dogs and they will be the ultimate test for this product.

Loved this faux slate tile!! It really looks like real slate. I was looking for a porcelain tile for our shower that matched our real slate floors. The California gold slate matched perfectly with the Tuscan Blue tile. Highly recommended.

Ordered these tiles for my bathroom. They are excellent quality tiles. No issues with delivery and pick up of items. They were so securely packed in the box, that I had trouble getting them out. My only wish was that the tiles were more blue/ grey and less coppery/ tan. Overall, I am very happy with my decision to go with these tiles. See attached photo.

Looks great!
We're very pleased with this tile. It's such a huge improvement over the ceramic tile we had. The quality is excellent - no chipped or broken tiles in all the boxes we purchased. It looks terrific, too! We just remodeled our entire kitchen, and the whole thing looks great, but we've received many compliments specifically on the floor. We love the look of slate without the maintenance of slate!

good value
Delivery on the field tile was not quick, but acceptable. (However, the matching bullnose took weeks to get here and slowed down my project.)
used this tile and the matching bullnose to tile a stairway. Nice texture, neither slippery nor too bumpy/uneven. We also used the bullnose for the edge of curved steps tiled in a darker tile, to make the step-down more visible. Cut the bullnose in wedges to work the tile in a fan around the curves. Used a grout darker than this tile in kitchen, lighter than tile on the stairwell, and very happy with the result.
The tile doesn't look as much like slate as I hoped, but it looks great , is tough, and is well worth the reasonable price.

Beautiful Tile...Careful with the Color
Tile is beautiful but the color is a lot more grey than the pic reflects. Color must vary a lot because the same tile purchased a few years ago had more blue than grey in it.

Would definitely recommend this tile
This tile looks great in our entryway. I also hides dirt and water very well. I was surprised at how inexpensive it was compared to other tiles with a similar look. Also, i tried to order this product from a flooring company and they were making it really difficult - so I went online with Home Depot and it was done in 5 minutes for about $50 less and cheaper shipping. We will see how it wears over time but so far so good.

Beautiful results
Great looking tile. Love the color. Mixed with some real slate accent tiles with awesome results. Tile is a bit thin and there are very few different patterns to the tiles. Color was very consistant.

Love this tile!
We had Home Depot tear out the original tile in our foyer and replace it with Slate Tuscan Blue, mainly because the old tile had a semi-gloss glaze and was extremely slippery when wet. The Tuscan Blue tile looks better and is much safer. The Home Depot (HOM Solutions) installers did a great, fast job and the tile definitely adds to the appeal of our house, especially as the foyer is the first thing people see when visiting.

A lot of Red
These tiles have a lot more red in them than any picture or sample shows. It looks like brown in the pictures, but in person it's red. Buy a box to verify before you buy 16 like I did.

Egyptian beige not the same color as shown
Egyptian Beige not even close to the picture. I get computer/pictures aren't going to be exactly like the real thing but these aren't close. No rust/red color, instead they are lighter and have gray in them. I wouldn't have a problem with just the lighter part but really didn't want gray. 2 tiles in each box have no beige in them at all, they are pure gray and you can tell the difference . Floor is done and looks ok but not what i expected and it was "special order" so you can't return them.
