The ball joint that holds the shower head in place became lose customer service came back with this: Unfortunately, it looks like there is no way to tighten the ball joint on this model. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. The showerhead will need to be replaced. Not under warranty. So I now replace a $109 bad showerhead purchased 11/2023. Not worth the money.

Worked amazing for about a year, but something happened where the ball is and now the head will no longer stay attached. For paying nearly $150 for this, I was definitely hoping for it to last longer than a year

I bought this today and installed it. It was not possible to get the hand held sprayer to stay securely attached to the main unit. Instead of a magnetic coupling between the two parts (as stated on the box and on Home Depot's website), there was a plastic clip arrangement that barely holds the sprayer in place, and the slightest touch knocks it loose. Interestingly, the installation instructions in the box note this, as shown on the attached image. I will be returning this tomorrow, but believe that Home Depot should not be selling these fraudulently mislabeled products. Incidentally, I have a different showerhead in another bathroom and have been very pleased with how securely it holds the sprayer. If this showerhead had a similar magnetic coupling method, I would really like it. However, due to this critical flaw, this product is just plain defective.

Not only was this easy to install, but it is the best shower I’ve had in years! The water pressure is great. I love the adjustable features. There is absolutely nothing I would change! Well done Delta!

It is a beautiful add to my bathroom. Besides, it feels smooth like taking a shower in the rain! It has several options to choose from a mist to a more strong water jet. I usually use the fixed piece, but the hand shower is really flexible and handy.

I bought this shower head cuz my shower head is kinda low. So I wanted the extra height and water coverage. I spent over $120 only to get it home and hook it up and find the ball joint was so loose that it couldn’t even stay up right while dry. I try to tighten it up but it needs a specialized spanner wrench, but I can’t find it anywhere. I cut and file a nail down to fit the holes and use a screwdriver to tighten. Then insult injury, the water flow is to low when both heads are on.

Easy to install. So far works great! I replaced my shower head because it would spray from the sides and it would go everywhere. This shower head is bigger plus it has the hose and a smaller detachable shower head. So far so good!

Husband seems to love it. It works as described. It is very good quality. Pressure is good, with one, or both on.

The point it pivots began constantly leaking and you have to hold it up to keep it from spraying back on the wall and roof. It’s not where it screws into the line that comes out of the wall, it’s where the actual head pivots and there’s nothing that stops it from getting worse overtime till the point it just broke off with normal use.

I bought this Delta showerhead last week and overall I am happy with it, I wish the magnet that holds the hand held unit was a little stronger. it has fallen from it's holder a few times. I had to punch out the water saver restrictor.

We liked this showerhead so much we bought a second one for guest shower. Rainhead plus a wand head is very handy. Can use any combination of the heads. Wand is handy for shower rinsing. Black looks classy. It is a watersaver, also, but you can tell it from the shower water volume. Wand head attaches magnetically. Very easy to install by hand...we used no wrenches. We really like Delta products...well-made, high quality but affordable.

Nine months and the unit is already failing. The ball joint can no longer support the weight of the shower head and points directly down. Single-person home, so the shower head is not even seeing excessive usage.

This took me about 5 minutes to install. Sealed great. No water coming out of fittings. Water pressure is fantastic. Wand easily removes and goes back in place.

It works, not as hard as massage like, but matches the water pressure, and so far it’s nice.

It’s very great for shower

We bought and installed this in our shower approx 7 months ago. The shower head and assembly fell on my wife while she was showering. Fortunately, she was not hurt. It looks like a plastic washer in the shower head broke leading to the assembly falling. Delta, can you help with this?

Easy to use, beautiful and nice water pressure!

First of all, I want to emphasize that a lot of the reviews about "not enough water pressure", was NOT a problem, it is totally depending on house to house. I was absolutely in love with taking shower with this showerhead, the 2-in-1 is super convenient! The hands free rain shower was very comfortable for a nice rain fall type of shower, soothing and all! The hand held has 4 different adjustments, the 2 massage style was strong enough to provide enough pressure while not too strong that splashing over the shower. The hybrid mode with the water comes out from both handheld and hands free was very comfortable too! Super easy to install, just screw it by hand after applying new teflon tap, that's all!!! Also the hand held snap was SUPER EASY, you just clip it on.

Just purchased the Delta HydroRain Two in One Shower Head. Everything was included in the box, small allen wrench and teflon tape for the installation. You will need a small crescent wrench to both remove your old shower head and install your new Delta HydroRain. Installation time took less than 5 minutes. This shower head is excellent in its finish and features. The adjustable pattern spray head on the hand wand is a great feature with plenty of water pressure. It makes it easy for just a quick rinse, washing your pet or rinsing down your shower or tub after cleaning. The adjustable main shower head is great for changing the angle of the water in your shower

Easy to assemble. Love that it has so many different shower sprays and that you can have two streams going at once. There is not a lot of water pressure but the rain fall portion is very relaxing.

Bought this shower head to replace the builder grade one we got with our house. It has never been right. It does not stay in any tilt position so I use a cup to hold the unit up. Not happy especially as this unit costs 100 bucks. Very disappointed.

My wife picked this one out because of the versatility of 2 heads. I was skeptical about how long it would hold up and how much it cost. About a month after installing it, she turned on the faucet and water started shooting up out of the back and toward the ceiling. She reached up to adjust the angle of the head and the whole unit fell off into her hand. I took pictures of the broken unit, called Delta faucet 800#, waited on hold for approx. 25 minutes, talked to a rep, texted them pictures of the broken shower head and they are sending me a new shower head. Total time on the call was 39 minutes. Lessons learned: 1. Get it set where you want it and then don't mess with the main shower unit where it connects to the pipe. Evidently it doesn't like being moved around a lot. Adjust this unit with by tilting the main head or use the hand held shower head. 2. If it breaks, take pictures and then call Delta's 800 number from your cell phone. That way you can text them pictures while you're on the call with the rep. I personally only use the hand held portion of the shower head. Sometimes it acts like it doesn't want to stay in the hanger, but if you're smarter than the shower head, you'll figure out how to make it work. It's not just the magnet that holds it into place. (And it doesn't matter if the magnet is wet or dry, it's still a magnet... c'mon people, science is our friend) If this only cost $25, it wouldn't get so many negative reviews. Since it costs $99, people expect it to be a little more heavy duty and hold up better. Treat it gently, don't force it and it will last longer. Quality of the unit... 2 Stars Value... my wife likes it, and if she's happy... 5 stars (I'm happy with a garden hose and a spray nozzle, so what do I know...) I am recommending this product because of the CUSTOMER SERVICE I received from DELTA Faucet after the unit broke and how easy it was to get it replaced.

Love the rain head. It pivots very well so I can angle the water where I want it. Don't like the clips for the shower handle. I've only had this a month, but I expect the plastic clips will break eventually. The detachable handle is very difficult to put back.

Bought this for a guest bath... After the obligatory removal of gov’t-mandated flow restrictor (Uncle Sam has no business in one’s shower), installation was a snap. Only thing the average home owner might want is ptfe pipe thread tape to prevent any leaks long term. Gotta say, the size makes the presence of the fixture seem high end and adds to the cocoon-like comfort I prefer in the shower. The detachable head is great for concentrating clean where you need it, and you can select BOTH heads flowing at the same time to stay warm, while using the handheld.

Just what we wanted, works and looks great. Very easy to install.

I got yer Delta Hydrorain 2 in 1, 4-spray Dual Showerhead and Handheld Showerhead for free to review. This is a nice shower system. The main showerhead is large and covers a lor of area, and the hand held shower also has a big showerhead. The main is a rainfall shower and the handheld has multiple spray patterns with good pressure. The handheld shower attaches via magnet to it's base and also had a retaining clip to keep it in it's place. The only negative I can think off is when you clip the handheld back to it's base you almost require to hold the base so it doesn't shift and change the agle of the main shower, since it's on a ball-joint and easy to accidentally change positions. Otherwise this shower has good pressure and works great.

The Delta hydrorain shower head with hand shower gives you three choices of water flow. An easy to move lever changes the water flow from the main shower head to the hand shower and to both the main shower and hand shower. The main shower head is large and swivels up and down allowing a person to adjust where the water is spraying. The hand shower also has a three position lever to change from a fine spray, strong narrow spray or gentle narrow spray. The hose to the hand shower is long and very flexible. The hand shower sits in a magnetic cradle for easy removal. The magnetic holder is not real strong and a moderate bump to the hand shower or hose will cause the hand shower to fall from the cradle. The position of the hose connections also pushes the hose loop perpendicular of the shower wall rather than hanging flat against the shower wall. All in all, the Delta hydrorain shower head is a good quality shower head with some nice features.
