Great idea but did not fit any of my Dremel tools. So make sure you look for comtability before buying.

Works Great!! nice not to have to find that little wrench to tighten collet. The knurled knob is easy to grab and get a tight lock on the burr. Speeds up switching burrs when power carving. All metal construction should last a lifetime of use.

An awesome, handy addition to a great tool set!

I'm unable to provide a rating as the piece did not fit my model 6800...in fact, there are no parts it seems are available for this model. Very disappointing as I expected Dremel to be a company that would provide for the products it sells! If you're not going to make parts for older models, you should at least make available parts that would bring the 6800 (i.e.) to a level where I can buy current attachments. Very disappointing!

PERFECT for the tiniest bits and big ones too. I know there's technical terms but I'm a crafter.

LOVE this thing! No more tiny wrenches that slip off the sides of the chuck. Holds securely. Easy to swap out. Definitely recommend

Does all I expected - I never liked dealing with all the different collets!

Original chuck came with 4300 Dremel worked intermittently with chuck seizing up, but able to loosen. No longer able to loosen chuck. Bought another 4486 chuck and it won’t loosen directly out of package. Please advise, I like the Dremel tool but need assistance

Easy to use and quick to change tools.

I have brought 2 of these, 1 for my little dremel and one for an old Black and Decker. I called Dremel whether this would work with my little dremel and the girl told me no, but i brought it anyway because I've used a flex shaft most of my life, and I was confidant it would work. It does. Its so much easier to switch out the different size mandrels that I have. I love it! So once again , can't count on people answering the phone for big companies. If you're not use to using tools, you don't know what you're talking about.
