For background and reference I live in New england. The winters are cool to cold The Summer's are hot and muggy. North sides of homes get covered with mold and mildew if they are in a wet area. My home and my mother-in-law's home both suffer from mold and mildew on the north side of the home. We regularly clean the entire home with different solutions and pressure washers. This ecolab exterior house and siding pressure wash solution is the best I've used in 30 years. Let me start by saying I did clean the test home twice. As you can see in some of my pictures and in my video that I've linked below, I sprayed half of the gable end of a home and let the product sit for 5 minutes as directed. After about 4 or 5 minutes I started at the top with the pressure washer set to a fan spray and work my way down. What I did notice immediately was that as soon as I put the product on the siding where there was mold and mildew it immediately started to turn a blackish brown. This is not like putting water on green or dark mold and mildew where it gets to be a brighter green and sometimes a darker green. What I mean by spraying it on and having it turn black or brown is exactly that. It looked like it was actually dying within the first 5 minutes. Pressure washing the house took the normal amount of time to get the dirt the mold the mildew and the product off the siding. I took pictures as I went so you could see the before and after images. I took a picture as you will see of the left side after completing the first wash and the right side not completed as of yet. Once the entire end of the home was cleaned the first time, I then resprayed the entire Gable end of the home from top to bottom one more time. I waited about 4 minutes and then sprayed from a distance with the pressure washer and watched even more dirt mold and mildew come down the home. At that point I was very happy with the results. The entire end of the home with both treatments used only one gallon of the concentrate in water. I did mix the solution at 8 oz to the gallon. Tomorrow I'm going to start on the remainder of the home. Very happy with the results and will be using this product for many years to come. This pressure wash cleaner claims to remove algea, mold, and mildew stains for cleaning houses, buildings, painted fencing and gutters. It reports a one gallon container will make 25 gallons of wash to use in a pressure washing machine or pump-up sprayer. To test, I tried several concentrations in both my pressure washer and a 2 gallon hand spray tank. Following the directions, I applied, waited then used the power washer or deck brush to clean. When comparing the results of the applications, I found that the pressure washer alone provided the same cleaning results.

I tried this product as an alternative to the exterior cleaners that kill grass and are otherwise bad for the environment. Rather than running it through a pressure washer I just put in a spray bottle to test it for strength and to make sure it didn’t peel off my paint. In order from left to right, Water, Dish Soap, This Cleaner. I am satisfied, definitely a good buy.

Since my pressure washer broke, I manually mixed a batch at 25 to 1 water/ECOLAB Wash for a spray bottle. Siding on our northern exposure grows unsightly algae. Per the instructions, five minutes after I sprayed it on, I gave it a light brushing, and rinsed it off. Mild odor, no noticeable affect on my skin. As you can see in the photos, it did a nice job.

Used for to clean aluminum patio cover. First used pressure washer to clean off lose dirt the sprayed on at 5:1 dilution ratio. Using a brush to scrub was useless. Instead, used a microfiber mitt to scrub and followed with a pressure washer rinse. Results were medicare to ok. Patio is much cleaner but still does not yet seem clean. Would it have been any better if I had just used all purpose cleaner or car wash detergent? Perhaps. It certainly was not the magic wash I had hoped for.

i used the Ecolab pressure washer soap with my ryobi pressure washer it worked great i used it to clean the floor of my Brother in laws pavilion while prepping it for the summer season. it removed the dirt and green stains from the cement with ease. it also cleaned the picnic tables i also used it to clean a car hauler trailer i simply applied the cleaner brushed it with a broom and sprayed a years worth of grime

I am very familiar with Ecolab as a company - I worked for the Institutional Division many years ago and they made superior products for institutional applications in hotels and restaurants. So when I saw that they now offered a product line in the retail/big box space I ordered this one to try on my cedar siding with a latex painted finish and painted trim as well as the railings around my deck. Following label instructions, I applied this via the suction line on my pressure washer. BTW, you can also mix this at a rate of 5 oz/gallon of water and apply with a manual tank sprayer. I waited the instructed 5 minutes and rinsed off using a 25 degree nozzle and pressure washer. I was disappointed with the results. While the siding was definitely cleaner, the painted railing were still pretty dirty. I then rubbed the top painted railing with a wet cloth and the dirty came right off. This leads me to believe that I would get better results by going over the entire surface to be cleaned with either a rag or soft brush after the cleaner was applied. Then rinse off. I used a different cleaner (in a green hose end quart spray bottle) from Home Depot for this same project last with year with far, far superior results. I cannot recommend this product to clean exterior siding or any painted surface for that matter. I know there are much better product for this purpose - I have used them and Home Depot carries them. This cleaner does have a pleasant odor, not harsh and chemically smelling.

This cleaner is nice works well and not a bad odor. I left it on a little bit longer than required and the stains came off my siding . Used a pump up hand sprayer to mix up some cleaner to try out. Sprayed the siding and then used a long handle brush to clean the area. Rinsed off area and what a difference!!! Just use it like the label says and it will work very well.

Love ECOLAB products we have used this house wash on our previous home and loved the results. We will be truly putting to serious use this May/June. We built a home and moved in at the end of last year and living where we are lawns are not put in until spring or summer. So we can’t wait to get rid of all the mud on our home. Building a home and moving in the winter is an experience as until the lawn is in.

I got this mainly for my large roll-up barn doors, which arent very hard to keep clean, and it works well on those. I tried this on somew dried algae inside a large plastic fertilizer tank, and the results were impressive. I used the 20oz/gallon rate, and applied with a backpack sprayer. After a half hour or so, I was able to rmove 99% of the dried algae with a pressure nozzle on my hose. Previously soaking the algae to make it easier to remove did nothing. The Ecolab product surpassed my expectations, and worked excellently.

My exterior wall was really bad from years of neglect. I thought this would be a really tough test for this product. I was not impressed with the foaming action during application. I expected much more foaming. I really don't know it it did that much cleaning before I used the pressure washer alone. It seemed as if the pressure washer was doing as good a job on the parts untreated with the Ecolab as on the treated sections. My wall also was a red tint now but I really can't say if that was a result of product residue (it is pink) or not. The jury is still out on this one. Maybe my test was unfair to any similar product.

This Ecolab cleaning concentrate is specifically called out for use in a pressure washer application and it would be a great sudsy foaming cleaner that way. I also used it in a manual application, mixing up 5 ounces for a gallon of water as recommended for light soiling to clean the pollen and winter dirt and mildew off our deck and outdoor furniture. It did a great job with a little scrubbing and rinsed cleanly with a bit of water pressure. I'm pleased with the results.

Needed to use a cleaner prior to painting some stucco and this product came along and looked like it was worth a shot. It’s been raining a lot so I’ve only been able to use it in a limited area, but so far I am happy with the results. I like that it’s concentrated and makes plenty per one gallon. I choose to use it in a sprayer to apply the product and let it work on the winter grime then wash off with a power washer. The results were a bit surprising as to how well it worked with only one application. It’s has a low scent and not alot of suds to rinse away. When I am able to get to use again I feel it will work best to apply more to the surface before rinsing.

Finally, Spring has arrived in our area and we were able to get out the pressure washer and take a stab at clearing away the winter mess from the house and yard. We added this solution to the solution tank on our pressure washer and went to work on the siding and cement around our home. Sadly, we noticed no difference in using this solution and using no cleaning product. It did not seem to help in removing mildew from the gutters nor from the cement walkway and porch steps. We expected the cleaning to go more quickly and easily and it did not, in our estimate.

ECOLAB 1 Gal. Exterior House and Siding cleaner for pressure washers. We pressure wash all of our buildings every year. But the cleaner that goes in the pressure washer comes out at a very fast rate. To solve that cost problem we hand pump spray and or brush all the walls and though spots prior to pressure cleaning. This method works very well. This product will remove most stains and dirt algae on the first go. Some types of mold will require a second treatment. For light cleaning this is a good product. Fast dependable and easy to use. Safe on plants and humans. Trusted brand

The Ecolab 1 Gal. House and Siding Pressure Wash did what it said would do. My Shed was a long time overdue for cleaning so I Ioaded up my soap tank on my pressure washer and sprayed my Lifetime storage shed and waited 5 minutes. The shed was stained in a few place and when I pressure washed it I had to spend a little more time on them but when I was done the stains were gone. Ecolab made my shed look brand new. I'm confident it will work just as well on our house. Oh, and it didn't take much to get the job done, so, after I clean the house I'll have plenty left over.

I used this product alongside my pressure washer to clean white hardiplank siding and gutters. As a house wash, I was surprised nothing was mentioned about a biocide as I commonly see that recommended to take care of green stains or organic buildup on fences or siding. The product worked okay but I'm not sure if it would look much different with pressure washing only. See photos for before and after.

As you will see in my pictures below, my house was a mess . I set my power washer up with this Ecolab cleaner and went after the bad stains. I had to go over it twice after letting it soak 10 minutes each time. Then I rinsed it under high pressure and it came very clean. It took the algae and mold and mildew stains off and made it look like new. The reason for giving a 4 instead of 5 was that I had to go over it twice to get the job done, but in all fairness, my house was bad as the photos show. I recommend it as a house, brick ,and gutter cleaner because it does bring them back to as new as possible.

It is springtime and I will soon be getting my back deck ready for setting up my 10’ x 12’ covered porch area. But first I need to clean up (power wash) the deck, vinyl siding and vinyl railings. Over the winter they all get dirty and get that greenish dirt and mold that needs a strong cleaner to get through to remove. I have an electric power washer that I will add this cleaner to and it will make cleanup much easier by penetrating and removing the wintry buildup.

I was amazed how easy it was to wash windows. Just spray on soap solution with pressure washer spray nozzle ,wait a couple minutes and then the turbo nozzle to clean away the dirt. No need to rinse to avoid water spots or streaks afterwards. Just clean sparkling windows! This cleaner works fantastic on our brick house which didn’t look dirty until I started spraying with turbo nozzle and was amazed at the dirt rolling off!

I clean lots of siding , gutters , decks ,windows etc prepping houses for sale. This worked extremely well and very low oder. Spayed on with light brushing cleaned very dirty white gutters to be very presentable. I’ll try Ecolabs other products in the future.

My go to product for cleaning house siding and decking with fantastic results!! Highly recommend cleaning solution to use in your pressure washer.

I bought this product for a job to do the north side on a tall gable end it had some algae on the hardie siding not to much . I sprayed it on with the power washer nozzle and did absolutely nothing to the algae then I sprayed the house with a pump sprayer full strength basically did nothing. Had to get it off by pressure washing directly down low but could not do it up high . So now I will get bleach and do it again don’t buy this product it’s garabage
