I plan on returning it. The wiring comes with plugs on them, so depending on your fan's wiring you may need to cut those off and strip back the wire's sleeve. The pull chain is off-center, but still touches the globe when at rest and causes the fan to rock when pulled. It comes with a 9 watt, 805 lumens bulb (box says don't go higher than 9W) but since the light has to shine through the globe that may not be bright enough depending on your needs. Overall it's fine, but not ideal.

I used this Ceiling Fan Globe LED Light Kit on my 16-year-old Hunter Casablanca fan. The light kit that came with the fan had gone bad and was out of production. This was really simple to install, The only modification, I had to do, was splice the white wire to the fan white wire, as the black wire had a plug that worked with the fan black plug. I wish all my home projects were this simple.

There were parts missing- lightbulb, electrical parts, etc. Fortunately, the globe fit the preexisting fixture

We wanted a simple light to replace an ornate three light fan light that likely came with the fan and this single globe light worked perfectly. It is easy, if you follow the instructions, to install. You might have to clip and strip the white (common) and black(hot) wires as they come with a plastic connector which an older fan likely does not have. Just use the included wire nuts.

I unpack it and had everything as far as colors. But was unable to use it because my fan had a different base attachment. But it looked to be of good value for money.

What started out as an easy install turned into another trip to Home Depot. After using the pull switch twice, the chain broke inside the switch. Unfortunately this is not repairable so it's going back. Looking at the design, extra stress is put on the chain since the fitting goes up and the chain is pulled down. This coupled with a very weak chain is a bad combination. I wonder how many positive reviews were posted only to have the chain fail subsequently leaving a useless fixture.

Everything was O.K. but the oil rubbed bronze color turned out to be spray paint black
