I had punched house so I have to cut and connect to the regular water outlet such as sprinkler I was able to do with this product And it worked . Check out the picture

Performed Perfectly! Precise fit. No leaks. Satisfied and recommend Everbilt Nylon Adapter Fitting. Selected to repair outdoor seasonal water line. Fittings seemed very well made, no burrs, irregular pieces. Threads started and turned easily with bit of plumbers putty for a no leak seal without issue. Hose fit was just tight enough to push on with hands and ridges made for excellent seal on tubing. Was easy, quick repair that likely will last years.

I had earlier purchased an Everbilt 3/4 HP sump pump to use in lowering the water level in my 20,000 gallon pool because of excess rain water or to lower CYA and Calcium Hardness levels. I also purchased 100 feet of 2 inch rubber hose for a discharge line. I used this 2" plastic hose barb adapter to connect the hose to the pump and also used a single wide hose clamp instead of the usual two narrow bands. The discharge hose remains in place far better on this barded hose adapter than it would on a slippery piece of 2" PVC pipe. This is a solid well made product that I would recommend for any installation where connection to 2" hose is required.

Used it as part of a mash tun. Does the job quite well. Connected to https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt-1-2-in-CPVC-CTS-Slip-x-FPT-Female-Adapter-C4703/100347927 with no issues.

Works well with a little Teflon tape, don't think I needed it but it has always been to tape them for long-term.

Product cannot be used with the 3/4" poly sprinkler tubing that I have since the ID of the poly is actually 0.82". The nylon fitting is too small.

Just as good as brass.
