This is a good check valve. Big blue box store doesn't sell the solid brass 2" check valve, so this was the only choice in my opinion! Overall seems to be good quality manufacturing. I just installed this part so not sure about longevity. I'll update if necessary, but good so far!

While securing the valve to PVC pipe, brass cracked on both ends of the valve. Poor quality of metal and/ or design.

I put this for my sprinkler system which draws water from the lake behind my house. Worked like a charm. I also put a 3/4in air relief valve on the discharge of my pump, to bleed the air. System is running sweet!

Just what I needed, attached at the end of the intake pipe from the canal. No issues so far seems to be closing and holding prime for the pump.

I've had it for a few weeks. The valve seems to work just fine.

Quality product. I have always used brass check valves when installing an irrigation system and have never been disappointed. It is twice the price of a PVC constructed valve but it is solid and built to last.

Works as advertised so far. Hopefully it will last longer than the plastic checks I've used(have a collection now) construction is good does not hang up like the plastic checks, time will tell.

when you install this check valve make sure to put it in a place you can get to. If you bury this you have alot of work ahead of you to repair it.Sometimes the check valve might stick. make plans for the valve for easy on and easy off. Please leave it above ground and don't bury it............
