It was a bit too deep so it leaked.

This for sink stops or compression fittings. Don’t accidentally purchase the FIP caps they will not fit. You will also need teflon tape there is no rubber washer inside.

Fitting work great, easy to work with, no complaints about anything.

this cap worked great it was to cap off a water line for an ice maker. No leaks

They work great for water shut offs that are old and unsure if they leak or not. I use them for remodeling bathrooms. Make sure to get the appropriate rubber washer, pipe dope or Teflon tape doesn’t work. If you get the thinner washers use two, and for inside and one outside threaded part. Thicker washers only takes one.

Thank you for inviting me to rate this brass cap. I found that it has threads on the inside that match the 1/4-inch compression fitting I needed to cap. On the outside, it was shaped to be tightened with a wrench. All-in-all it is effective at capping, as I needed it to be.

This should include an o-ring. I used the blue pipe dope & it worked. Teflon tape didn't work.

Good Quality and therefore works as expected.
