The project for which I ordered this pair of hinges was cancelled, so I haven't actually used them yet, however, I can say that they are very well made. They are sturdy, hefty, and strong. I hope to use them soon. When I do, I will update this review or add a second one. I will comment on two things that I like about the packaging and instructions. The hinges arrived in a clear plastic bag with a zip top. That makes it easy to keep them together with instructions and screws and easy to find among other hinges. The instructions are thorough, providing guidance on planning, recommendations for number needed, tools, differences in face frame or faceless cabinets, and diagrammed steps. All the print and diagrams are small but the clarity is exceptional - very easy for me to read.

I’ve used EVERBILT hinges before and have always been satisfied with them. I haven’t installed these yet, but I am a little concerned about their durability. They work smoothly at the movable joints and look nice. However, they seem to be a little lighter in weight than my other EVERBILT hinges, which makes me wonder if these will hold up to regular use without breaking. If you’ve not put on this type of hinge before, the instructions may be a little difficult to follow. Also, they’re printed on a very small strip of paper which makes them difficult to read. You’d be better off finding installation instructions on the internet. All of the hardware required comes in the package. You’ll only need a drill, some bits and a screwdriver to install them.

Overlay is adjustable but maxes out at 5/8 of an inch when fully cranked.

These look like very sturdy hinges. I had to replace the hinge that came with the original vanity. I didn’t realize how much wear and tear that was put on the original hinge, but it’s about 8 years old. The nice thing is that there are two hinges in the pack. If the original broke, can the other side be that far behind. If it does, I am prepared with an additional Everbilt hinge. It sure looked sturdy enough, I’m sure this will last longer than the original. Very easy to install as well.

These hinges are for the final door on my kitchen cabinet refresh. The door is going to open wide for full access to the drawer. Everbilt has high quality hardware that I trust. You can feel that these are strong, and that the self close feature will handle a heavy door. There are adjusting screws to control the angle and degree of opening. My one complaint is that the instructions included are printed in the tiniest print, I needed two magnifiers to read it!

This is a pair of wide angle overlay single set that opens at 165-degree. They look very sturdy and well made. Usually, my experience is that if you use them for the the doors that are near any water leaky source, say, the under-sink cabinet, they got rusted over time and it is such a hassle to replace them because of the rust. I hope this one is of high quality and can last a long time.

Received a pair of Everbilt Wide Angle Full Overlay 165° Hinge Set and will be using them to replace an older normal hinge set that has come loose and no longer hangs straight. After installation, I find that these hinges are super strong and have a much firmer open and close feature than the average hinge. I can see why most new home cabinet installations use these types of hinges. As with all the other Everbilt products I own these are very high-quality products.

These really seem complicated, when I opened them I thought, oh no. But after a few minutes of looking them over it is easy to see they are simple to install but complicated in construction. They come with instructions, who needs them right? Well I might this time, this will take some real layout work and then some carefull drill work to mount these hinges. I have a cabinet door in my boat that is hinged upward. So to get something out of the cabinet you need to use one hand to hold the cabinet door up. This hinge should hold it for me. My home kitchen cabinets have a similar hinge and it works perfectly.

These hinges are good quality hinge perfect for any cabinet that needs a better closing device on it. These do include the hardware to screw in or you can upgrade to a bigger screw or a longer screw to keep in place depending on the application. These were very easy to install and just needed to test out after install to make sure lined up properly. I highly recommend these hinges to any homeowner trying to upgrade their hardware on cabinets. The quality of the hinges is very good and seems strong.

These are made by Hettich a USA Company for Everbilt. The action of opening and closing the hinge is smooth as glass. The instructions are clear and concise but are printed tiny. It would be nice if they included a full size planning template. The screws to affix the hinges are very good quality. These are ideal for new cabinets or renovations. These are very nice and I feel they will be the last you buy.

These came just in time for me I had to of these break on 1 of my cabinet in backroom of my garage and now I can replace both of them and wont have to worry anymore.This is the exact one I need for this cabinet,They should pretty easy install and replace the one broken one and then other one.I would just like to say Thank You to Home Depot and Everbilt for this .If any of my friends are looking for these please check them out at Home Depot.You will not be disappointed .

I presently have one hinge that needs to replaced on our Lazy Susan corner cabinets. These Everbilt (Home Depot brand) are very heavy duty. Built to Home Depot's specs. They have a built-in-spring mechanism that allows the door start closing upon it's own with a very soft touch. The pair of hinges come with to optional mounting plates for a framless mounting or a special face frame mounting plate. The 165 degree hinge allows double the opening of a conventional cabinet hinge. I used these on two toy chests for the cover closure so my grand kids not smashing their small fingers while digging for toys.

The Everbilt Wide Angle Full Overlay 165° Hinge Set is an easy to install/replace in pre-drilled cabinet doors. I had recently been to hinge in the door and it would not close completely so I decided to get this set of hinges and replace both hinges in the door. It took about 10 minutes to remove the old hinges and reinstall the new ones and adjust the door opening properly. The easy close function is nice so that the door does not slam when being pushed closed. Simply begin to close the door and as it gets close to being closed it will respond and finish itself.

These Everbilt wide angle full overlay 165 degree hinges are heavy duty and should easily support most any household or cabinet door. I would not suggest them for typical lighter cabinet doors as they are simply too stiff. I think the provided attachment screws are a bit small considering the strength of the hinge and the amount of effort required to open and close. I will use heavier screws just in case.

I needed to replace a door hinge in one of my kitchen cabinets. These hinges fit the bill only better. Now I was able to open the door even wider. I replaced both of the hinges with these. An exact fit. They move smoothly and they are invisible when closed. No lubrication necessary. They work great right out of the box. In my case no pre-drilling of any knid was needed.

These are very solid, what I would refer to as a "mechanical" hinge rather than a basic one. These are good for heavier doors or just one you need more control over. They also offer more of a snap like hold it closed kind of stay put. The sort of thing for a chest lid or cabinet that you want to swing back but don't want it to just swing open on it's own. At this writing I'm still working a special piece of furniture this will go in for just that reason. No loose swinging door, stay shut when you close it, but open wide enough to get in it.

This set of hinges will come in handy when I build my next cabinet. It can be used for either a face-frame or frameless cabinet. The kit includes cabinet mounting brackets for both the face-frame and frameless cabinet. The instructions are thorough, but I would recommend that the manufacturer use a larger font and piece of paper. It is difficult to read the instructions without a magnifying glass. The hinge clips onto the mounting bracket so it is easy to remove the door. Two hinges will support a door up to 13# and instructions tell you how many hinges are needed as the door weight increases. There are many adjustments in the hinge if the doors need adjustment. A 35mm (1-3/8") Forstner bit is required to drill the hole in the door. There are many jigs available to help install the door portion.

Theses hinges have two mounting plates and mounting hardware. Good instructions. Theses are for frameless cabinets only . Adjustments are up and down and side to side. They worked great for the small cabinet that I made. The cabinet doors were easy to adjust after I mounted the doors to the cabinet. The only issue is they should have a picture of the hinge mounted to let you what hinge it is .

The purpose of a hinge is to open an close doors smoothly. This hinge does just that. There is a little spring action at the end of stroke to keep the door closed. It includes mounting plates for both face frame and frameless cabinets. The wide opening is perfect to allow full access to the cabinet without the door getting in the way. Adjustment is easy with multiple ways. The hinge also has a release for the cabinet end to completely remove the door. The instruction sheet is VERY small print and hard to read.

So this arrived well packed and was not damaged during shipping. It comes as a two pack so be careful as you typically need 3 hinges depending on the weight of you wood species and size. For maple it worked satisfactorily for my needs. Again I would have preferred 3 separate packages or a thee pack. The king is a solid metal perhaps zinc with solid construction. It is not flimsy and closes quietly and smooth. I am very happy so far.

My Kitchen cabinet door hinges were rusting so I thought I would give this a try. My first impression was that I thought these hinges were too big but once I paired them up to the old ones, they are a perfect fit in replacing my existing hinges. The hinges look like a very high-quality hinge. Very sturdy. Don’t close them until after they are installed. To re-open them takes a bit of ingenuity to accomplish. It comes with two attachment plates that MUST be installed (see pics). One plate is for frameless cabinet and the other is for Face Frame cabinets. There are 3 screw adjustments on the hinges to allow for proper alignment for Height, Door Overlays (so the opposing doors do not knock into each other), and Depth. You will need a magnifying glass just to read the instructions, screw driver, and if you need new holes- drill. Over all a great quality hinge and now I can open the doors WIDER for easier access into the cabinets.

This is not soft closing and more like snap shut. Will need bumpers to reduce close noise. Includes mounting screws and installation instructions. Easy to install, all you need is a European 1-3/8" Hinge Cup Dill Bit. Only reason given 4-stars is that it is not Soft Close. Adjustment slots on cabinet plates.

These are really good to use where you have limited space such as the bathroom or small kitchen. Say you are showering and need to reach around the cabinet door to get out a new bar of soap or you're in the kitchen helping someone and can't get around. Included are the screws and not only one but two types of brackets whether you're mounting to a flat surface or to an edge. I found these hinges to be very adjustable; the easiest I've ever used in fact.

One of our new house’s home inspection fails was bad kitchen corner base cabinet hinges. I ordered these Everbilt Full Overlay 165-Degree Hinges to remedy the situation. Unfortunately after waiting over two months for them to be delivered it turned out the issue was more than the hinges and we ended up having a new folding cabinet door made and installed by a local cabinet shop. When the hinges finally did arrive I compared them to to the ones the cabinet shop used and they appear pretty much identical. While I realize a quick visual comparison is not a thorough review it’s the best I can offer in this case. Keep in mind these hinges also are backed by Home Depot’s Lifetime Warranty.

The Everbilt Wide Angle Full Overlay 165° Hinge Set (2-Pack) are nice hinges, especially if one needs hinges where the door swings more than 90°. The instructions are not the best in that they are so tiny I could not read them even with reading glasses and good lighting. I could however see that there was a link to HomeDepot.com so I went there, found the hinge and printed pages 5 and 6 of the instructions. Perhaps the instructions could have a QR code so that one with a smart phone could easily get readable instructions. I had previously assembled a couple of these hinges for my wife for one of her cabinet projects but I did not remember about the "snap" mechanism for the 2 different mounting plates. Frameless and Face Frame. Once I got past this, assembly and installation were easy. I did a mock installation using two pieces of scrap wood as seen in the photos. I missed the mark and drilled the Hinge Cup hole 1-1/8" from the edge instead of the required 7/8". The door would not open the full 165° due to this error. Once I discovered this I cut about 1/8" off the edge of the mock door and the door would then open nearly 165°. If I cut enough of to get the center of the Hinge Cup the required 7/8" from the edge I'm sure it would swing 165°. All in all these are nice, very well made hinges. Since readable instructions are available, I will give them 5 stars.

If You Need This ... You Know! ... and there is not much else that can take it's place. However, it very nice to know that spare parts made as nicely as this are available and show be installable without much hassle. The HandyManiacs usually replace both hinges when one fails and getting two in a pack really makes that easier. Also, having mismatched hinges is not a good thing.

I have an ongoing mid-century cabinet project that requires a set of wide angle hinges. The "Wide Angle Full Overlay 165-Degree Hinge Set 1-Pair (2 Pieces)" will work well. They make it easy to open the door wide enough. This set includes all the mounting hardware necessary to install, and were a pretty straight forward install however; you will need to drill a recess in the cabinet door with a forstner bit to fit the hinge mechanism. Hinges are "Made in Germany" and are satin nickel plated. They are not soft close, but they do close gently. The hinges make it easy to remove the doors, by pushing a button on the back of the hinge you can disconnect it. It's nice if you want to be able to clean them clear to the back, or put shelf liner on the shelves etc. Also if you want to refinish or paint the cabinet. This cabinet is going to be refinished/painted, then the hinges, new handles etc will complete the project. I hope this review and photo's help you decide your next hinge purchase. I do recommend this product.
