Great
So I was spectacle About using product because of everyone else’s comments I followed directions and used a 1/2 drill bit it seemed kind of big but as long as I clipped in the white plastic flipped down prior to the plastic clip it worked fine yes it spun inside but I used a impact drill and it pulled it perfectly.

    Takes a little finesse
Have gone thru 50 of these - does take a little finesse - I am sure the bad reviews are just people in a hurry - take your time - handle them carefully and you will have a 99% success rate. Put up 40 shelf brackets thru shiplap and drywall so 1.25" thick no problem. Since then have redone towel rack holes that failed with the EZ Ancor screw-in plastic anchors which always fail on towel racks or toilet paper holders - leaving a 1/2" hole just asking for a FLIPTOGGLE. Just put up a candle holder - LOVE these flip-toggle fasteners.

      Great!
I was a little hesitant to make this purchase based on the bad reviews, but I was also a lot desperate after one of my ridiculously heavy hanging shelves ripped the anchors out of the wall and left huge gaping holes. Thanks to Reddit, I learned that these are even a thing! I used 6 altogether and only had 1 break prematurely. And that was purely my fault, as the hole was not big enough and I was trying to force it. I’m completely sold….that shelf isn’t going anywhere.

        Cheap and brittle
These work when they work - most are complete junk though. The problem is 1 or 2 out of 3 of them will break when prepping, inserting, or tightening rendering them useless. The design is just poor overall as the intended break off after tightening makes the plastic too brittle. Either buy a different brand or plan to need about 3X as many as you think you will. Shame on Home Depot’s minimum wage buyer for not sourcing a different brand after all this time.

          Who needs a stud Finder!
I mounted a 65” tv Mount to 5/8” drywall using just two flip toggle and the other two regular wall anchors. Worked like a charm and super easy to use.

Great for instances where sruds are not available for mounting heavy objects like T.V. mounts or shelves. The only down side about this particular product is its possible to break off the plastic while you are trying to pull the toggle forward against the wall.

They work, but won't buy again.
I've been using toggle bolts for years, both traditional and this type. In the past, I never had an issue with this type, but these ones here, the plastic is really brittle, and they break easily. Also, the plastic slide piece can lose alignment. These two issues caused me to lose 2 of them into the wall. While I will buy this style again, I will not buy this brand again.

It took a while for me to figure our how to set this up but eventually got it. Was able to mount my wall desk on the wall safely. I did not like how the pieces broke off easily and was unable to use one. Overall if you follow directions and video examples you'll be fine!

Very frustrating and break off in the wall
These were very frustrating to use and kept breaking off unevenly in the wall. We ended up using a 10 pack to hang one shelf and we still have a second one to hand. Such a waste of money.

These things are awesome. I've been using this product for over 5 years now and they don't disappoint. I've used them to wall mount TV's and Computer Racks as well as Handicap rails. Extremely satisfied with this product.

I utilized to hang 32" TV on articulating wall mounts in 3/4" drywall in order to center perfectly in room. I also utilized these to mount 32" TV to old block wall due to blow out of drill holes preventing ability to use concrete screws. These are much stronger than any other drywall anchor I've tried before. Highly recommend.

                Better toggle bolts out there
I’ve been using “Toggler” toggle bolts on a kitchen remodle and ran out so I tried these. I’m annoyed I did- these are definitely not as good and more prone to snapping/breaking before fully anchoring to the wall, or not locking fully to the wall and then when you try to drive the bolt in it basically spins like it’s stripped. As an experienced handyman/home remodeler I would not recommend.

                  Pure Junk. Do not buy.
I followed the instruction exactly as shown. I Installed 10 of these and not one of them would tighten the screw to the metal anchor. All stayed loose in the wall. I had to drill all of them out and use another brand anchor. Don't waste your money.

                    Junk - do not buy
I bought a two pack of this brand only because they were out of the usual anchors I buy. I installed them per the instructions but the bolt would not tighten. I discovered the metal pieces had come loose from the plastic inside the wall, so basically useless now. Seems like a cheap knock-off of the much better Toggler anchors I usually use (without problem).

                      Nice idea. Poor execution.
I bought these thinking they would be a faster and easier solution compared to a normal toggle anchor. I’m glad I bought a large pack because I quickly found out that you can easily separate the metal toggle from the plastic portion by pulling too tight or by missing the threads when you go to tighten the bolt. There’s no specification as to how tight you should pull the tab, and if you pull too hard it will pop the toggle off the plastic pivot point. And if the toggle doesn’t seat evenly behind the wall the threads will be at an angle so when you insert the bolt it will push the toggle off the plastic pivot point. The ones that did stay in the wall correctly seem to be holding extremely well, but it’s not worth the money to be hit or miss when you’re paying a couple dollars per anchor.

Consider another type of toggle bolts instead. I bought a box of these. I used 4 toggle bolts in drywall. 2 of them broke as soon as I started inserting through the large hole that I had drilled. I emailed customer service twice, no answer. Don't wait your money and time on these, look for a different product instead.

Drill a half inch diameter hole through the gypsum, push the toggle through the hole until it self-adjusts, pull gently on the plastic semicircular tube & slide the collar onto the hole (part of the collar will be inside the hole & the lip of the collar will rest on the outside of the hole), then snap off the excess plastic. Place the item you intend to attach to the wall over the hole & align the hole in the item to be attached with the hole in the gypsum. Then gently push the steel screw through both holes until you encounter slight resistance. Then, using only your finger tips, gently turn the screw clockwise until the threads of the steel screw engage the threads of the steel toggle (metal threads engaging metal threads). After the threads engage, tighten with a screwdriver to your satisfaction. If you want to remove the item later, simply remove the screw. The toggle will stay in place. If you want to fill the hole, just push the semicircular plastic tube into the wall cavity & fill with joint compound.

Absolute crap. I have used these in the past and they have worked well. They changed something. Plastic breaks too easy and wont line up to get screws started into the toggle end. Ends up falling into the wall

In an insulated wall, over half of the metal toggles just disconnected inside the wall from the plastic handle. Probably me, but I much prefer the version of this item that has 2 plastic connecting legs to the toggle made by Toggler. The included screws are pretty short too. The little plastic floppy thing is a decent idea.
