Replaced the (3) Halogren bulbs in the bathroom! Same brightness less heat given off!

The bulb is good. It's soft white with translucent body. The base diameter is a bit wider than the bulb's and it was a deal-breaker, it did not go into an opening in the shade.

They burn very hot in my light fixture, and blew out the fuse.

Used these in sconces @ 120V. They seem to have a flickering effect while using a dimmer. Says they are dimmable.

Was too long. Did not fit the fixture I have.

Bought 1 of these to test about 6 months ago along with two of the “normal” bulbs that Home Depot carries. Both of the normal bulbs have now burned out and this one is still going strong. I bought two more to replace the older style and have no plans on going back. The larger size version of this type of bulb that goes into a regular light socket is hanging in my closet and has been there burning brightly like the sun for over 4 years now. But that too!

These lights do not perform to the hours as advertised.

poor selection at my local home depot. these are too bright to use in any fixture that takes more than 3 bulbs.

Super bright for its specified rating! Great choice for our work/table lamp. Rated to 10K hrs as opposed to the halogen alternatives that are usually rated to only 2K hrs of life.

I don't know if it is my light fixture or the bulb but they don't seem to fit right. The instructions said I needed a G9 and that's what these are.
