Application with pressure spray was very uniform and easy to apply on my newly poured concrete walkway. Applied after 30 days of the pour. Five gallon bucket easily covered 600 sq ft of walkway with two coats with a bit of material left over. Water beads off surface after rain.

I purchased a five gallon bucket of SX5000WB concrete sealer and applied this product on my recently poured driveway. I was not able to apply it until November 30th, as it did not warm up to above 55 degrees F. until that day. I waited until around 1:00pm as the high for the day was 60 degrees, so I was not able to finish the driveway and the patio on that day. It rained a couple days later and I was impressed with the way it sealed the concrete that I was able to finish. Highly satisfied.

Just applied Foundation Armor SX5000WB to porch, sidewalk, and driveway pavers. Did not want a wet look but wanted to enrich the natural colors. This product did the job. Applied two coats with a hand pump tank sprayer and "back brushed" with a soft bristle brush. Cleanup was easy with soap and water. Pavers were two years old and definitely needed sealing. Very satisfied with the product. We are in sunny Florida I hope this product lasts the 7-10 years as advertised.

I like this product so much I bought another 5 gallons and showing my neighbors what it will do for them. I use heavy Salt. I have been in concrete business for over 40 years and using this product. Thank you.

Easily applied with a sprayer and works great, any water just beads up now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seriously, neighbors ask why my driveway looks so good. Easy answer is I apply SX5000WB. Water based easy to do-just power wash, let it dry 24 hours, spray it on, broom out any puddles. Water runs off like crazy. Because I am up north we have many snow events and the plow blade does scrape away some concrete every time so I reapply every 3 years. Used it on the garage floor too-makes spring cleanup super easy after a messy winter. Oh ,and on the poured concrete patio too-looks great, doesn't change the color either.

I have been using SX5000 WB sealer for three years down south on brick steps and repairs.Recently I tuck pointed a set of bricks that had been covered with a tropical storm .After cleaning and tuck pointing with a colored mortar,I applied two coats of sealer. Quite effective Seems to stop mold growth and did not change the color of the joints

I have used other sealers on my driveway pavers, but they did not last more than a couple of years. I am hopeful that this product will last the 5 or 6 years they claim. Only time will tell. I used an airless sprayer to lay down 2 heavy coats, 2 days after re-sanding the pavers, and it went very nicely. I was concerned that the solids in the sealer might clog the spray gun filter, but had no problems at all, and clean up of the sprayer and gun was very easy as it was clean as a whistle. It certainly was smoother than using a hand pump spray tank as in the past.

Highly recommend Foundation Armor for Lueder stone. I tried 511 Impregnator and 511 Porous Plus sealers and my grey buff Lueder got dingy anyways. Foundation Armor sealer is great at repelling water, see the picture for the results. The water beads on my Lueder stone now when it rains.

Application instructions are thorough and clear to follow. I recommend using a diaphragm backpack sprayer when applying to a chimney. We are very pleased with the results. Repels water!

Originally wanted this to help keep dog pee from smelling up the concrete. It has definitely helped with that, but I was super surprised when it rained a few days after! All the water pooled on the top and could be brushed off. It was not slippery, and there was no darkening of the concrete either! Can't speak to longevity as of yet, because it has only been a few weeks, but it seems like it is a high quality product that will last a while. Very excited to keep my concrete clean and no longer smelly from dog pee!

After purchasing it I spoke to a representative at the 800 number that advised me on the application. First sprayed concrete with pressure hose waited 2 days. Used a sprayer ( Scott's ) and a brush for expansion joints that had a puddle in them.Hear on the News it was going to rain 30% chance at 3am so I covered concrete with plastic / removed it the next day. It dried just as stated. It has not rained yet.

Great looking product after application and drying time. Gave the driveway 3 days of non use age to set up properly. Anxious to see how many years it will last after another coat as recommended. Used a 5 gal container

We had not sealed the driveway over 15 years. Recent masonary sealing I did with another product was expensive but left milky white patches on patio. But this product found in homedepot did well. Partially done and then it rained - see image

My pavers were last sealed about 15 years ago with another product. After power washing and replacing sand, I searched for a product to use to reseal the pavers. I decided on the Foundation Armor SX5000 WB water based silane siloxane sealer mainly due to the ease of application and product description. The sealent went on as described and created exactly the finished effect I had desired. I am very pleased with the result so far and look forward to many years of protection!

I bought this for a old red clay brick wall that let water treu the bricks and mortar. After many research I found this product had all the requirements I was looking for. First I repaired all the cracks in the mortar and after everything was dry I used a leaf blower to remove all the dust and loose mortar. Then I taped all the wood and windows off. And followed the instructions. After I applied the sealer and let it dry the red clay brick wall was a little bit darker and it looks much better now with the sealer on it. We have had a lot off rain and no water came treu the bricks and the mortar and the bricks were dry on the inside. The sealer really works good as long you follow the instructions!! I will definitely use the product again for my customers.

Bought two gallons. As you know the price is way above the competition. The competition does not claim that it will work for 10 years as Foundation Armor does, so on an annual basis the price is competitive. Was enough to make a single applications to a bluestone patio, side stairs and porch with a little left over. Applied using a sprayed and followed up with a paint roller. Followed the tips from the manufacturer and it worked as promised (see below tips that came with the 2 gallons). It has rained a few times since application and the water does puddle up but the surface is not slippery. I just want the product to keep the mold away for the areas in the shade. Little early to tell if it will do that.

I bought this to seal some new brick we put in our kitchen as a backsplash. It came out beautifully! I even took a picture as I was applying the product so you can see the minor color change it does create. It's not objectionable at all - it actually enhanced the beauty of the brick, in my opinion. It went on easily, dried quickly and cleaned up well since it's water based. I highly recommend this product.

Water repellent okay. But can a brother at least get a small glow. The patio looks exactly the same. I don't see a difference,so I tested the water repellent effect,which appears okay for now. For the price, I will not recommend it. Too expensive and waste of my money

I have an outdoor covered lanai area that has a natural stone, slate tile floor. The ceiling of the lanai leaks so the slate gets wet during our Florida storms. It had been 10 years since the slate had been sealed so the water was penetrating the stone. The stone and grout was starting to look very dull. I needed an affordable product that I could apply by myself (I'm 60 years old with a semi-good back...haha). I read many reviews and decided to use FoundationArmor's Penetrating Water Based Silane Siloxane sealer/water repellent. I choose the perfect product! After cleaning the slate and letting it dry for a day, I used a deck broom to spread the FoundationArmor product doing one section at a time. I gave the slate and grout plenty of time to absorb the product and then wiped off any excess with a rag. That's all there was to it! Super easy and it didn't kill my aging back! The end result is awesome! The beautiful colors of the slate are once again showing and the grout looks great also! My only problem is that now when it rains, I have puddles on my lanai since the FoundationArmor product is doing it's job so well and the water isn't penetrating the stone anymore. I wish FoundationArmor made a product to fix my leaking lanai ceiling because I'm sure it would be an excellent product at a good value. I'm so glad that I didn't buy the expensive sealer products that I had researched. There is no way that they could perform any better that FoundationArmor.

We had previously sealed our flagstone patio using a roller brush and a different product with a lot of time invested and disappointing results. We did a lot of research before deciding to spend a little more money and buy this product to help protect our investment in our large flagstone patio. I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy it was to apply using a Scott's multi-use sprayer, which had been recommended for use in application. After cleaning the flagstone and applying the Foundation Armor sealer, our patio looks restored and protected.

Easy to apply. Dried for me to a tack in half hour. To date seems to be really effective at water repellent. Used it on a brick roof chimney which gets a lot of water being located near the roof crown/ridge. Very satisfied - relatively expensive but worth it.

I have a flagstone floor in an Atrium. When I recently purchased the house I could see that the stone was not protected. It was dirty and stained. The stone stayed wet and water puddled on the surface. I cleaned the surface completely. I completed a lot of internet research and this product was listed by many as the best. I was easy to apply. The surface was not darkened or stained by the product. It has not rained recently but after a couple days, I tested the product by spraying some water. It worked great. I would recommend this to anyone who has flagstone or similar surfaces that need protecting.

Applied over flagstone and lueders cap stone on a patio and walkway. While it may appear pricey compared to other sealers this stuff is heavy duty. The percentage of suspended solids (Silane siloxane) is much higher than similar products so you are getting more sealing bang for your buck. I applied it over previously sealed flagtone that needed resealing as it no longer repelled water. Very easy to apply with a garden pump sprayer and easy to clean up. I waited until we had significant rains before reviewing, and I can report I am very happy with this product. The previous sealer I used never repelled water like this. In fact, it seals so well that 2 days after the rain there are puddles in low spots that do not absorb into the stone. I can recommend this to anyone who wants to seal natural stone or reseal stone that needs to be resealed because the intiial sealer has failed.

I would and would not recommend this product. There was no warning placed on this sealer about using on white brick or concrete. Everywhere I read stated it would not change the sheen and would NOT yellow under any circumstances. I used this to seal white koni brick for a kitchen backsplash and it DEFINITELY yellowed it. It created a slight sheen that intensified the 'yellowness' under different lighting color temperatures and amount. While it does have excellent water repellent qualities, it is false advertising at best that it will NOT yellow. Very disappointed and returned this product. While I understand manufacturers can test their product on every substrate, white brick is very popular and trendy and increasing in popularity with mid century modern styles, etc. I did do a test sample prior to placing on all the white brick, however, the yellowing wasn't noticeably obvious until the entire section of brick was installed and vertical on the wall. I followed all manufacturer's instructions.

I needed to seal a manufactured, composite stone veneer on the front of my house. The house is 12 years old and the stone was beginning to show some wear from exposure and weathering. I did my research and this product seemed to fit all of the requirements I was looking for in a sealer. I followed the product instructions very carefully (power washed the surface with ample drying time prior to application and abiding by the exterior and surface temperature requirements). The product was easy to apply with a hand pump deck sprayer. I found a paint brush and some cotton rags to be more effective than a roller in working the product into the grout joints and evenly distributing it over the surface. I was not looking for a wet look and the product dried clear as I desired. The stone veneer now has a richer finish and doesn't look as "dry" as it did previously. I highly recommend this product and would use it again without hesitation. The recommended calculation for how much to order per square foot was right on the mark as well.

This sealer, though more expensive than some, was easy to use and seems to work great. Three days after applying it, we see that rain beads up on the surface of our garage apron and sidewalk. We applied the sealer to 6-week-old concrete, following the easy instructions and tips. The product arrived on the day promised, even though I received an email from Home Depot that it would be delayed an unspecified time. I was relieved when it showed up at the original predicted day. I was concerned about cold temperatures at night here in the mountains of Colorado, so I called Foundation Armor directly for tech help . The person I talked to reassured me the sealer would be fine at the temperatures I described, so we got the application done in time for winter! It was a good experience all around.
