Great rain barrel. Easy to install top, overflow pipe and spigot. Works like it should. Have had it about a month an have used the water collected to water my garden.

Had this for one year and it cracked across the bottom. The exact same place as pictures in some of these reviews and as posted online on Reddit. It was a waste of money. Previous rain barrel was cheaper and thinner and lasted 10 years. The spigot is high and I’m thinking I must not have drained it completes and the base froze in winter. I don’t want to have to pull it apart from the eaves Avery fall to drain it. I regret this purchase

Box came busted up and retaped. A hole on the bottom of the barrel.

I bought 4 different styles. This is the only one that was easy to assemble, easy to clean , ( some fancy barrel trpes have no internal access) easy to add( I used 1 1/4 rubber plumbing connector) quality parts ... ( more expensive ones leaked) easy store off season( remove spicket for stackable ) I have 15 of them now, about to buy more.

Both barrels I purchased last spring cracked on the bottom. I would not recommend them.

The faucet is leaking with tiny drips at first use. We tried tightening, but still dripping. We finally resorted to put a container under the faucet. Very disappointed as it supposed to have a better brass faucet which we paid more for than other brand of rain barrier with PVC faucet. After we drained the barrier and took the faucet apart, we found that a tiny rubber flat washer is loose with missing securing screw. Not happy as we got to search for the right screw to fit it or get new faucet.

Quality is disappointing. The bottom is so misshapen that the lid doesn't go on well. Now I know one of the reasons you have to screw the lid on. It will not sit flat, though this may be solved with the weight of the water. Now I am very worried about the long term quality of the product.

We thought they were awesome, but it has been a year and all 3 we ordered cracked in some way. Bottom on one side on another and the top on the third. In My experience these are only good for 1 year. Do not buy these!!!

High quality rain barrel. Mosquito screen is very effective. Highly recommend.

I used this all summer. Held rain very well, stayed stable, no leaks. This winter I opened the faucet to drain out water, then after a hard freeze there was a big crack across the bottom which leaked like crazy. If Home Depot lets me exchange this for a new one I will update this review. There was only a little water in the bottom. That should not crack plastic.

Red handle on valve crumbled in my hand the first time I tried to open it.

I like the simple design of this rain barrel and you can’t tell but the logo is just a sticker that peels off so it’s just a black barrel. It was easy to install, after we FINALLY got it... received it 1.5 months after ordering, which only frustrates me because it was “marked as shipped” for a month before it actually left the warehouse. I was charged as soon as it was marked as shipped. I confirmed this was the suppliers issue and not that UPS took forever to pick it up. The other downside to this barrel is that the predrilled spot for the tap is a foot off the ground. This is handy in that a watering can fits easily under to fill it, however that section of water can and will never be drained or used, so the capacity of the barrel is actually much less in terms of what can be used.

A very solid rain barrel and spigot. It was easy to put together and is working as intended. We've had for about one month and would recommend this to everyone.

The product itself is good, but that's about it. If you are in no hurry for it by the manufacturer, expect to wait.

We love it!! Easy to assemble, sturdy and economical! We ordered the green one but received black though. Other than that, we love it!!

The rain barrel itself is nice but it has been leaking water. We have tried sealant spray, sealant tape, and sealant paste but it has still leaked all over our shed and we have had to put a bucket underneath the area it’s leaking. My husband and I were disappointed. We were excited about this new rain barrel :(

The rain barrel was easy to assemble and looks to be user friendly. The overflow features on either side of the barrel are conveniently designed. I plan to purchase two more rain barrels.

Quality seems decent but it's ugly and mine came with a poorly attached logo label (big ugly label that is crooked and bubbling). I'd remove the label, but no way it's coming off in one piece. It came out of the box looking like the attached photo. Contacted the company and no response. Whatever, it's a rain barrel, you'd think the company would at least have the courtesy to respond.

I have purchased this product and it has worked as intended. I like the slanted top and the screened opening. I had the gutter drain designed so that it goes directly to the opening. The overflow pipe works as designed. The one disappointment is that, for some unknown reason, only one rubber washer is sent for the spigot. Your barrel will leak if you do not have two washers - one for the inside and one for the outside. This can be taken care of by going out and purchasing one. I did elevate my barrel by putting landscaping tiles underneath so a bucket can fit underneath the spigot. I plan on ordering another barrel like this.

Great product We did remove temporarily the brass nozzle to have something larger to let the water out faster. Both work nicely and this product is reasonably priced and shipped quickly! We have had it one month and it has exceeded or expectaions.

the rain barrel was light and easy to handle for me. i got the beige color and it blends in well with my home siding. it has few parts and everything was easy to install. the only problem is we're having rains everyday now...i should have gotten four!

We noticed the barrel was cracked along the entire bottom at 1 year 6 months. No idea when it actually happened, but it was out of warranty. It looks like it cracked across the gate where it was injection molded, maybe that’s a weak point?

Nice design, very practical. Debris filter is effective. The removable cover makes it possible to take bucketful of water directly from the barrel, making the watering process much quicker. If the spigot is 3/4 inch instead of 1/2 inch, it would be even better. A 3/4 inch spigot would make filling up a watering can quicker.

It's not worth what you paid for! See picture after a couple of years sitting around and trying to barely collect rain 3x a year. It has two big cracks at the bottom of the barrel. Contacted Co and he was nice over the phone to ask me to email him pictures. Then I got a response back saying it's only warranty for 1 year! He made me go through the whole trouble of taking the pictures and emailed him. Not only is the company unethical in dealing with business but the product is NOT durable!

I like the design and the look of this rain barrel. I made a permanent structure to incorporate this barrel as a part of my garden design in 2015 (see attached picture). With the short height and a large lid, I can get quick access to the water on the top with my 1 gallon jug and it also easy for me to clean out the inside of the barrel when needed. However, the wall is very thin. You can even see the outside light when looking out from the inside of the barrel. You will definitely need to drain and store the unit in the garage or the basement before the first frost. See the barrel damage in the first picture when I forgot to empty the unit before the first frost. I replaced this unit twice (one in 2016 and one in 2017) already.

Love it!! I was pleased when I received this rain barrel because it is better than I expected. The barrel itself is made of durable heavy gauge, UV-stabilized plastic. The inside bottom is reinforced from ribs formed during the molding process which enables it to withstand the weight of the water when the barrel is full. It is easily set up and the directions are clear. I bought this rain barrel instead of one that I could purchase at a huge discount from my city's water board because it came with a brass spigot which will not be prone to breakage as well as it held 5 more gallons of water. The screen on top which is sturdier than I expected is trapping oak tree debris including leaves, acorns, and small particles. I like that they are square so that when I buy more the flat surfaces will be easier to deal with. Because my new gutters were put up after I set it up, I didn't have to mess with cutting the downspout. even before it rains and I am able to clean it off easily. The dual overflow connections permit interconnection of multiple barrels is a plus. I like that the spigot is higher up. With it on the platform that I made, I can easily drain water into 5 gallon buckets and/or watering cans. In addition, the lid being removable for cleaning and inspection of the barrel is a handy feature. The overflow hose was not long enough for my purposes so after much research, I bought online a Nelson Plastics 1-1/4 in. x 24 ft. Sump Pump Hose Kit ($12.57 from Home Depot) which fits perfectly into the overflow hose. I am able to cut this off to suit my needs and save the rest for a future project. This rain barrel along with several more that I intend to buy (just bought another one online) will help solve an erosion issue in my yard as well as place the water where I need it. Living in San Antonio, TX, I need to save water due to rains being few and far between at times. I have a lot of plants in containers so the saved rain water will come in handy, save on my water bills as well as provide water that has no chemicals in it. So far it hasn't rained since I set it up so I am unable to judge whether it leaks nor whether the faucet works well. See photos of how I set reinforced the base I constructed and how I placed it on cinder blocks with cinder block covers. I had to sure that it would stay level and that the red pavers would not sink into the ground. It will weigh quite a bit when full so I had to re-level and reinforce a flowerbed which is on a slant where I placed it. It took some planning to be sure that it will be secure and that I will be able to place a 5 gallon bucket below the brass faucet when I want to extract some water. I also needed an extension to be placed on the overflow hose as well as an end flute. As stated before, I used a sump pump hose. Because the gutter draining into it is 32 feet long, I will be able to daisy chain the next one that I just ordered to this one; however, it will be at a lower level. If need be, I can place more cinder blocks under this one to increase the gravity flow.

So far, so great ! . I bought 2 of these. . . I am a 71 year old woman. And I installed these myself. . . Let the rains begin !

I bought two of these a couple weeks ago. Very easy to set up and they work great. The lid with the integrated filter screen is a nice feature. I purchased this unit because the lid was removable for cleaning and inspection of the barrel. I wish the flow rate from the supplied spigot was better.
