A dehumidifier that's not collecting water can be due to a water tank that's full and needs to be emptied, parts that need to be cleaned, there's an issue with the coils on a refrigerant dehumidifier, the moisture level in the room is already too low or has been set too high. Regarding your concern, we recommend for you to "Unplug the unit and plug it in again under normal operating conditions. If the display reads "EC" , check the following operating conditions. Outlet voltage should be 115V and the surrounding temperature should be with in the range of 41F to 96F.
