I have been looking for a weather strip for a very wide crack (door needs to be reinstalled or replaced) on the latch side of an exterior door. This door seal is a bit wider than the others I have tried, other than the original which was failing. Installed a few weeks ago. The Frost King fit the kerf better than others, quite easy to install and seems to be staying in place. The fit in the crack is good, although it still requires an additional foam seal attached to the door. The door does not take as much effort to bolt lock. The wind is blowing today and it feels to be much better at reducing infitration than previous products I have tried.

This foam weatherstripping acts like a wick. It soaks up water at the bottom of the door and holds onto that water, causing wood rot on the threshold and door jamb.

I haven’t installed them yet, but I am quite sure they will work fine
