Poor quality washer
Purchased this washer two weeks ago from Home Depot with their installation package inclusive of new stainless hoses. Day 2 the washer is leaking from the bottom of the unit. Day 3 the unit is unbalanced and wobbling in the laundry room and leaking. I call for service and today they show up and I don’t think they were service techs, they appeared to be delivery folks checking on the installation.
They say they will request replacement and that can take 10 days. So bought new GE washer and dryer and now I have a leaking unbalanced washer Ang going to the laundry mat daily. Bad unit and bad service.

Broke in 3 days!
Do not buy this washing machine!
April 21st I got a brand new GE Appliances washer and dryer set delivered.
By that Friday (3 days later) it had stopped spinning, I put in a claim for a repair/replacement. GE customer relations said a repair company called Tekniton - Vancouver would be there Tuesday 4/29, the company never called and once I called them they said they would come Friday 5/2 between 1-4.
At 4 I called Tekniton because no one showed up, at 4:45 a service guy came. Replaced the motor and said now the mother board was out and he would need to replace that next. Said he’d call Monday with a timeline…
Tuesday no word. Called the company, no answer and to this day 5/10 no word from them.
Tuesday 5/6 called GE customer relations, they said there were no notes and they could not help me until the repair company added their notes. Said they would call and email the technician.
Friday 5/9 still no word from GE or Tekniton so I called GE again. Was on the line for over 1 hour to be told by 3 people they could do nothing because the technician from the 3rd party company THEY hired had not added notes still. The only solution was for another tech company to come out, so they scheduled that for Tuesday 5/13. That tech company texts me today to let me know they have no appointments and will be in contact Monday to schedule a date for later in the week to come LOOK at it!!!
So for an over $2500 set of washer and dryer that I could use for 3 days, I am now without a washer for 2 weeks and no solutions from GE.
DO NOT BUY THEIR PRODUCTS!

Powerful washer
So far, so good. It's a good washer, many features and capable of heavier loads. It's a bit loud compared to me smaller older washer but the clothes are very clean and love the deeper tub and clear top!

I switched from a LG without agitator and been very happy with the performance. Clothes come out much cleaner and really like the water level control. You can open while is filling with water and rise the extra detergent in the cup.

Great Machine
We really like our new washer we purchased to replace our last GE washer. Our new washer is the:
GE® 4.5 cu. ft. Capacity Washer with Water Level Control.
This washer has easy to use push button controls and large load capacity. It performs well and is not as noisy as
our last. There are plenty of wash cycles from which to choose including a “Quick Wash” for when you don’t have time to wait. The automatic water level control saves on the water bill. You can choose your temperature, soil and spin levels. You can even save your favorite cycle using the “My Cycle “ button. Overall, we have found this washer to be exactly what we wanted.

Great washer! Highly recommend!
I bought this washer 4 days ago and so far I absolutely love it! I've done about 12 loads and my bedding so far and it worked perfectly. It got everything super clean. I love the control panel and all of the options. You can control how much water is put in or do auto fill. It is very quiet, even when spinning. I really like the agitator and the clear lid. The tub is large so you can fit a lot in it. It's also a nice looking machine.
My previous washer was a Whirlpool. It only lasted about 2 years and was very loud and banged violently when spinning.
I hope this washer will last a long time🤞🏼I highly recommend!
Also, Home Depot delivered on time and the delivery guys were professional and installed it quickly.

Great Machine Looks Good Too

Love the capacity
I love the capacity on this washing machine. I am able to add several towels and sheets which is great! Also you have the ability to change settings for many features including speed, water temp and water levels. Noise is at a minimum. My old washe was very noisy during spinning. NOt so with my new washing machine. I am enjoying it.

Love you can add clothes with out lid locking
First day already love it way better than the Samsung we had with no agitator. Seems to get clothes clean is a little bit noisy but not too bad.

Great machine
Love my new washer. Read reviews and so far I have no problems . First thing I washed was my bed sheets and comforter on bulky mode. No problems. I like all the features it come with. I tried a couple to see what works best for my family of 4. Some reviews I read had problems with water levels, spin cycle not enough, balancing or noisy. I don’t agree with them. I keep water level on auto, max spin, and don’t think it’s any noisier than old machine. I even threw in soaked towels from my basement seeping and had zero balancing problems.

Poor Quality, stopped working after 2 months
If only I could give zero stars. Poor quality. Stopped working after 2 months. Lid stopped locking. Very dangerous. Control board needed replaced. Impossible to have anyone from GE work with us to get an immediate repair. Do not recommend this or any other GE product.

GE Washer Runs Excellent
My GE washer runs great. Love the speed of a cycle and offers a wide variety of different cycles. Washer runs efficienent When you hit the pause button to add an item, the lid opens quickly which is nice since my last washer took about 30 seconds. I purposely choose a washer with an agitator since I'm tired of blankets clumping together on one side causing balancing issues and over wet items. Capacity holds large blankets without any issues. The machine is not super noisy. The durability of the glass lid is thick and has rubber pads on the feet to provide it from moving while running.

You will want this one!
We love our G. E. GTW585BSV3WS Washer It is not the simple gear driven Dial operated no option model. This is the Digital model with Turn Dial and depress buttons. Offers a great deal for price. You CAN'T go wrong with this unit.

I think it will be just fine.
I bought it because it has an agitator and not an impeller and I can choose my own water levels. I don’t like to rely on the machine to get it right. It fits in my laundry room just perfectly!!

I have been using the washing machine and so far it washes very well. The only issue is the fabric softener dispenser. There two. The drawer dispenser one doesn’t seem to work. I placed the softener there and didn’t dispense at all. I didn’t bother using the detergent side. So I decided to use the dispenser in the middle. That one works, but after the load is done, there is still fabric softener dripping from the sides. Not a whole lot, but enough to slide to the bottom. So I have to carefully take the clothes out each time so they don’t get fabric softener on them. No matter the amount I put, which I tested for each load, it still drips when it’s done. So I have to use the detergent pods and the Downy Stoppables.

Very Nice Washing Machine at a Great Price.
So far, first day and two washes, excellent. I watched several YouTube videos on it and they were also very content with this product. But I am a longtime consumer of GE and never had major issues, good price and quality. The packaging was perfect and absolutely no damage to the machine. The washing machine is packed with features and are so far working fine. I will update after some months.
