I followed instructions explicitly, purchased a pressure cleaners just for the job, swept, cleaned and washed. Put on two coats with appropriate coverage as on the label. Well within the extended temperature range. No traffic for the recommended time plus a day. Seemed good through the winter, but as soon as it started warming up again, my grandsons were talking about how it was coming off. Sure enough, it was, and it continues to get worse by the week. Would not recommend.

Great product. Easy to apply and covers well.

It's only been a week since doing my driveway. But product was as described easy to put down. My only complaint after applying ! I noticed half of my driveway was a flat black while the other half was shiny.( which looks better and i prefer) And yes i did stir.

Applied today. Did about 1000 Sq ft with 5 buckets which is approximately 200 sq per bucket with one coat. Dried pretty fast with good black color. Product was good and easy to work with, not much mixing needed. Broom works better then squeegee but second coat will be needed since my driveway originally is very porous. Let see how long it will last , that is why only 4 stars So far I like this product.

Filled in smaller cracks and inperfections nicely. Color was nice and black but definitely need to do second coat. Took more bucket's than I expected.

Seems to be a very good sealer but make sure you purchase buckets with the same production number as they can be a small difference in color after the product has dried

The difference between this product and that of the nearest competitor was significant. It was heavier, went on thicker and has lasted longer, since we did part of our driveway last year and used each brand. It’s also cheaper in price!

It was difficult to mix, but once it was mixed it went on very smooth and easily!

Goes on nice, Cleans up relatively easily. I hope it it lasts a couple years. Order extra, I didn't get anywhere near the square footage they said it would cover, but my asphalt is pretty coarse and really sucked it up.

I purchased 7 buckets (red lid) that appears to have been old product- very thick gel- like jelly- extremely difficult to mix and use - had to thin to mix and apply. I had to buy more from another Home Depot (black lid) and this time it was easier to mix and apply. I wish I would have taken the first 7 buckets back! Second batch was blacker than first batch when applied. I hope it lasts since it was a great amount of work. I learned a hard lesson about checking for old out of date product!

Mixed all buckets evenly and still come out with different shades after application. Will not purchase again.

this product it is better that the competitors,because the viscositi and sandy formula go thru all the small cracks the only problem that I see it the bucket goes fast and dont cover enought floor in general I would buy it again

Great product for all asphalt driveways needing sealing

The product was good, but didn’t cover as much square footage as I expected, perhaps because my driveway was not perfectly smooth when I applied it.

Extremely easy to use and I didn’t have to stir it up before using. The coverage was great and the cleanup was easy. I definitely recommend it and I will be using this product in the future.

I used the product on a small 700 SF asphalt driveway. We cleaned the surface, patched the cracks, and applied the recommended two coats at right angles with an 18” roller. Most of the driveway looks great, but a day later some areas have started to debond and flake. The good news is this driveway doesn’t get much traffic. My take is that it’s just a thickened flat-black latex paint and not a true sealer that bonds to asphalt. I expect we’ll be doing this project all over again in a couple of years — lesson learned.

This stuff is pure garbage...it looks nice for a few days (other than the cracking and peeling), then, after it gets wet and stays that way for a while, it starts to wash away. Into the street, tracks into your garage and into your house. Why don't these manufacturers produce a quality DIY product that is not water soluble? Makes no sense to paint your driveway with water paint. I am guilty for purchasing and using this stuff over the years, but I am always sorry afterwords. Best to avoid this stuff, and save your money to hire sealcoating professionals.

I have some asphalt and it takes 80 buckets. This product has been the only one that covers easily. The most important thing is to stir the product and then stir some more. The 2022 price increase stung a little but still cheaper than doing it twice

Cracks and crevices not filled. Lots of bare spots when dried

Scuffs up from car tires. Maybe should be more like 1 year. I used a 2nd product that doesn't scuff at all.

2 stars for coverage area. Covered less that half the lower range stated on label. I bought 6 of these and several had a lower amount of material in it than the others, some an inch or more lower than other bucket amounts. 4 stars for actual product on driveway and how it looked.

Product is nice and thick, I used a brush for better coverage vs a squeegee. I would recommend using it before getting the full sun (spreads easier).
