I bought this as my front load washing machine had a crack in basin around the drum. To replace it was impractical for the age of this machine, so I mixed up some epoxy and layered it on. I let it dry and went one step further, bought some Flex Spray and coated that over it. My wash machine is low water usage so it would take awhile for the water to leak out, but I think I'll be good. I'd be surprised if it were to leak.

Solid, easy, strong
First time user, used to layer some wood together to make the foot on the end of a axe handle. Easy to work with set time is just right to get things in place. Will 100% be using this again.

not "food safe" according to manufacturer
While the Home Depot website states that this product is "food grade", according to the manufacturer's website this product is NOT food safe https://www.gorillatough.com/product/gorilla-epoxy/ "Gorilla Epoxy is not recommended for direct or indirect food contact and should not be considered food safe." Rating low for the Home Depot website information not for the product itself.

    Gorilla epoxy
Easy to mix, a little tricky to squeeze an equal amount but mixes well. Setting time is adequate to apply and get things in to place. Hardens with a good tight bond between metal and wood.

doesn't work, didn't dry in over 24 hrs
this is 5-minute epoxy. My mixes never seem to dry, not 3 hrs later, not later that night, not the next day. Did I mix it well enough? You tell me, I've been using 2-part epoxies since I was a kid, and nothings given me these same problems. And for the same repairs, I've turned to an alternative epoxy maker and zwa-la, no issues. So it's not the material being repaired, or my mixing abilities - in fact I gave away an R/C plane I built in the 1970s and the engine compartment firewall was attached with another brand's 5-min epoxy, now that's something that sorta tells the story on me. So i put the blame on gorilla glue. Don't get it

          Great epoxy with annoying cap.
As far as I can tell, Gorilla Epoxy works just as good as other quick set epoxy brands I've used. Unlike J-B Weld quick set epoxy, the Gorilla twin tube has a less than useful cap design. The black cap that you have to snap off from between the black plungers barely fits on the tips and often needs a good rap with a hammer to set it tight and a pair of pliers to get it off. J-B Weld has an outstanding cap design with neither of these issues. For this reason alone, I will purchase the J-B Weld quick set rather than the Gorilla version in the future.

            easy use, clear, fast set
Performed satisfactory. I used the product to fill some voids in a decorative concrete surface and was very happy with results. This stuff is strong! I left a small metal stir stick on a stool top overnight and i can vouch that the bond was unbelievable.

I was surprised at how easy this glue was to use. The directions are simple and the glue is effective in holding metal to wood. The hold was reinforced with screws so I expect it to remain secure. The continuous pull weight is about 7 lbs on a square inch piece of stainless steel attached to wood. The wood was roughed slightly with sandpaper before gluing. I was a little messy with the first one but I got better with practice.

This stuff worked great, I was fixing a walking cane, and the top piece was made of fiberglass, the shaft was compressed wood, and to hold the 2 peices together is a threded screw that was made of some type of metal, and on each thing i needed to drill the hole to a larger size and then thread in the larger screw. And the 2 part system worked so well, people thought I took it to a Shop. I liked it so much I will be Building a lot of Custom Walking Canes. Thank you.

This epoxy is GARBAGE!! Completely RUINED my home project (LED light for my pool). Total waste of money and most importantly, my TIME as now I have to figure out how to "dig out" this product and save my specially-ordered blue LED bulb. The product claims to clear, however, dried to a "milky" & cloudy white. How this even possible? Plus, the Gorilla Glue website is either down, or nonexistent. Huge fail!

The Gorilla Epoxy is working! I needed to adhere a ceramic slab to a wood base. It's a Wallhanging Piece. So, I needed something Strong and Reliable. I ended up using it on all of my Pieces, that required any adhering. Thank YOU so much for being Kind, Patient AND Knowledgeable. The Gal, who helped me, was awesome! I've been to other places and felt a bit intimidated or that they jist didn't get what I was trying to convey. But, she got me! My Exhibit opens ON Friday the 13th at the Hot Shops. So, I'm "crossing fingers" that all goes well and that EVERY Piece remains intact. Thanks again!

I use this product on some of my woodworking projects. This works great for me. This urn in the picture is all glued up with this gorilla glue. It holds everything together tightly. It seals all the joints. Gives me time to clamp the pieces together before drying. This is about my 3-4 combo tube in two years that I have used.

The "new to us" house we bought had a not so new kitchen faucet. Very cheap or old. I can't decide which. The handle kept disconnecting so I needed something strong to keep it on until we install a new one. Tried E-6000 but didn't even last a day. I think we are going on a little over a week now and it's still holding strong!

                HOLDING GOOD
HAD TO USE A GLUE THAT WOULD STICK RUBBER TO MARBLE, I USED Rubber Auto and Marine Weatherstrip GLUED TO A Marble Threshold. THIS WILL SEAL THE DOOR BETWEEN THE MARBLE AND THE DOOR. SO FAR IT IS STILL HOLDING GOOD. I HOPE I WILL BE ABLE TO USE THE REST FOR OTHER PROJECTS ( HOPE IT WILL NOT HARDEN UP IN THE TUBES ). I PLAN ON MAKING GOOD USE OF THIS PRODUCT ON FUTURE PROJECTS.

                Easy to use
The container makes it so easy to mix a 2-part epoxy glue. It is not fool-proof, though. I found that I must exert equal pressure to both sides of the pump to get the two parts to come out in equal quantities. And this is key to a proper epoxy mix. The first couple of times I used it, I held and pumped the glue out with one hand going across both sides. But this yielded uneven output because the pump is a shared rocker type design. So I switched to a 2-handed approach so I could easily control output of each side. The glue comes out clear and very liquid. It is then easily mixed with the provided ice cream stick. If the glue is mixed correctly it does start to thicken and set up quite quickly- within just a few minutes. If the mix is uneven at all, then it stays liquidy much longer, so it is easy to know if you mixed it evenly. It dries clear and a little gummy on the surface. Perhaps the gumminess will subside over time, but my repairs are less than a week old right now. I used it to fill in chips in porcelain/ceramics. I glued a heavy solid onyx eagle bookend back together at his little legs and its holding. I also filled old screw holes in a wood cabinet door and about a half hour later was able to drill new holes directly next to the filled holes and the drill did not travel into them. It has a cap that covers both sides and seem to seal pretty well. The wood stick can be wiped off and tucked behind the plastic label/joker in the space between the two tubes. Because of this clever container, I will use epoxy over super glue when I should now!

Excellent bond strength; Longer cure time.
I use Gorilla brand epoxy for joining metal to metal, metal to wood, and metal to some plastics in projects. I sometimes use it joining wood to wood instead of gorilla glue as the epoxy does not expand like their glue. The epoxy working/set up time is about the same as other 5 minute epoxies. Once you have mixed the 2 parts together you have about 5 minutes to use what you've mixed before it loses its workability. Make sure your have your pieces cut, cleaned, arranged and are ready to assemble (and clamp if necessary) before you mix up a batch of epoxy. Also, remember that it does not take much of this product to produce an extremely strong bond.
