Easy to use, and cut or tear to size when needed. They are about 1/16” thick which allows for small leveling increments, and can be stapled in place.

These used to be great. Dense, reasonably stiff, and tough. The new version (soft pulp between thin paper layers) is too soft and tears much too easily. Grip-Rite, please go back to the old version.

I needed a couple, had to buy 100, come on Home Depot were not all contractors

This is a great product to align sheetrock without damaging it. I would recommend this to the diy homeowners and contractors.

Shimming out my uneven studs before applying cement board, these shims were perfect. Plenty of shims at a good price. No regrets.

Can't get enough of these. I remodel apartments with plaster to sheetrock areas and they come in great. Plus a lot of other uses from hanging doors to shimming floors. Easy to use just tear and hammer tack them down.

Not as thick as I would like

Basement Reno blended old framing with new studs which had up to an eighth inch difference so the grip right shims bridged the difference well.
