Affordable solution to a potentially expensive problem!
After 19 years at our home, we still had not conquered the battle of debris in our gutters and downspouts. We had already begun investigating our options for solutions, especially Gutter Glove, when we were randomly visited by a salesman for a company installing similar guards at a vastly inflated price. My hubby politely told him no thanks, and our search continued. Our biggest issue was trying to figure out which size we needed. After a bit of trial and error, we concluded that we needed the 5” gutters. They were perfect!! My hubby was still recovering from knee replacement surgery, so my son and I installed the Gutter Glove guards on the gutters in the rear of the house. Satisfied with the job they did when we experienced inclement weather from Hurricane Laura a day or so later, this we ordered another box so we could install them on the remaining gutters on the side and top of the house. I was able to install the guards over the majority of the remaining gutters, and we rented a 12’ A-frame ladder so our son could install the rest!! We’ve since returned the ladder, so short of climbing onto the roof, which I’m not feeling disposed to do, we’re not able to see how well they’re working. However, based on the performance of the first box we installed, we are resting easy that they’re doing the job as intended!

No More Pine Needles and Asphalt Rubble in my Gutter!
Simple install - read the clear instructions, trim the end piece, and start sliding the panels under the shingle ends! Set the driver clutch lightly to avoid overdriving the self-tappers, and after several ladder moves, i was done... took longer to clean the old asphalt rubble and this year's pine needles than the install! Gutterglove's excellent customer service group reminded me that the 4' length is nominal and i was glad to have a few panels left over.

      Easy Installation
This product had all the features I was looking for to protect me from having to consistently clean out my gutters, especially the roof grit and leaves. This avoids the risk of me climbing a ladder as I get older. The 25 year warranty, allows rainwater cathment system and micro mesh was a plus! Have only had installed for a little over a week now.

*** My previous review referred to the product as Gutter Guard instead of Gutter Glove. I am correcting it here. I installed Gutter Glove on a few of the gutters in my home that collect the most debris. We are surrounded by pine trees here in Cape Cod and this product keeps those pesky pine needles out with 100% effectiveness. In addition, shingle grit doesn't get through the very fine mesh. The stainless steel/aluminum material is perfect for our coastal zone. Our home has three different configurations of roof & gutter - flat roof, steep roof, and low hanging gutters. The installation instructions were very helpful in handling each case. I am now installing Gutter Glove on the rest of our gutters the total length will be about 240 feet. This is a significant investment but well worth it. In a few years, I won't be climbing ladders, so this will ensure clean gutters for as long as I own my home. Here are a few tips I discovered while installing mine: (1) Use a hacksaw to trim the ends. The edges are too thick for normal tin snips. (2) Build a brake out of a 2x4 to help make bends uniform. (See photo) (3) Trim the mesh that extends beyond the front edge (cut a small square) to allow gap-less butting of pieces on the front of the gutter. (4) Trim about 1/2" off the flange on the front edge of the first and last pieces in order to lay flat over the end cap.

            Consider layout before starting
This was easy to install for my project. My roof is on a single story building 8+ feet to the gutters, and mostly level all around the house. One thing to consider is the layout. I measured the entire length of each side of the house gutters, divided by 4 (feet) and then decided to either start with a full panel right at the middle of each side, or start with a full panel to the right and left of dead center middle, so that at each end I was not left with a very short piece at the corner to try and fit and miter. Turned out great, each corner was less than a full length, but not extremely short and the miters was easy.

Best option I have seen, and most adaptable
I have installed these on both my house(120') and shop(88') and they work great. Installation was pretty easy with tinsnips, scissors and drill, and they will adapt to different situations. I recommend using the supplied self-drilling screws rather than the tape strip, it only adds maybe 30 seconds to each piece and gives you the ability to remove individual pieces if gutter needs repair. Also I recommend their brush with its different bristle options, as brushing the crud off helps them work right. My tips are: 1) Pre bend the factory crease to match your roof slope- it makes the trough that will catch the water so it won't spill over the gutter, and it's much easier than when it's in place. A 2x4 cut in half makes a good way to hold the piece and bend where you want- just sandwich it between and kneel on to hold 2) Bend the mesh slightly downward on the top overlap side so it won't catch when brushed off. Cut off the little front corner overlap of the mesh on top piece before, so lip will sit flush with previous one- you'll see what I mean 3) Read the instructions, as they have methods for corners, ends, etc. that work best. Their site has good tips and photos for install methods as well

                Very pleased
Although I did not install the GutterGuard, my contractor thought these guards were great. They installed smartly and easily and quickly. Very neat and clean looking. He even took a few pieces for demonstration purposes. Packaging was great. Not a lot of packing materials to dispose of. Came with screws and the appropriate drill bit. Looking forward to seeing how well they will work.

I'm in love with this gutter guard.
Why do I love them you ask? Love them because they were super easy to install. They fit like a glove and the included self tapping screws made it easy to install (especially since they include the socket drill attachment). Love them because only needed a pair of tin snips to cut them down to size. Love them because the final product looked like they were installed professionally. And love them because they mean no more cleaning gutters after my neighbor's trees drop a metric ton of pine needles and leaves on my roof again.

                    Very good product
This is a very good product and once you go through some trial and error it is smooth sailing. I only gave it four stars because the directions could be a little more detailed but other than that we had a very successful installation and they thus far work as intended.

I bought Gutter Guards a year ago to protect the house gutters. Nothing but rain water goes into them now. This recent purchase was for the patio gutters. They are an easy install, durable and much more affordable than commercially installed systems.

Was easy to install. Good quality, especially compared to the plastic ones I had previously. Looks great too.

                        Super easy to install.
Super easy to install. Get some good new sharp shears, it's worth the purchase. Ended up one section short, so purchased the 3 pack. Blocked the top of the gutter with rigid plastic until the 3 pack comes. I'll have a couple of spares if a tree branch happens to fall on it. Worked good with the garden hose sprayed on the roof. Gonna rain tomorrow. We'll see how they work.

Easy to install & keeps out just about everything
These were incredibly easy to install. Granted I have a single story home so everything could be easily accessed. We have all sorts of seed trees over our roof so I needed something with a pretty fine mesh. I bought both 3 foot pieces (from store) and 4 foot pieces (online because store ran out of 3 foot pieces). Both were easy to work with and cut. They come with the screws & a really nice magnetic bit in each kit. And you get a free brush if you write a review. I was going to pay someone thousands to put gutter helmets on and I'm so glad I decided to do this one myself.

                              Very Good Gutter Guard
This is the best gutter guard that I have seen on the market - a little expensive, but worth it. We had some traditional gutter leaf guards professionally installed when we had new gutters put on our home. However, the holes in the leaf guards were too big, and the brand new gutters began to fill up with grit from the roof shingles and small leaves. I chose to install the 5" Gutter Guards with the back of the mesh bent down and screwed to the fascia wood at the back of the gutter. I screwed the front of the Gutter Guards to the front lip of the gutter with the self-tapping screws per the instructions. I bent 1" of the back portion of the gutter guard down, and it fit beautifully in the 5" gutters. The gutter has extra rigidity due to the extra screws in the back of the Gutter Guards. This was a tedious process - particularly for the second story gutters, but I am VERY pleased with the final results. The gutter guards appear to be able to handle the extra water load shed by our large sloping roof line. The best part is that I will not have to clean out the leaves in the Fall from the second story gutters, and there is no more soil erosion due to the rain water! Do not lean your extension ladder on the gutter itself when trying to install the Gutter Guards - particularly for a two story home. The pressure from the ladder and your weight causes the gutter to deform inward. Use a ladder stabilizer mounted on top of your extension ladder and leaning against the side of the home to install the Gutter Guards - it adds to the safety of the installation. The only concern I now have is that I have not been able to figure out how I will hang the Christmas icicle lights off the gutters in December now that the gutter is fully enclosed.

this gutter guard is very easy to install. Follow the instructions provided and you'll be there in no time. Im not a handy person by any means but I can do this easily. Also looks nice as well. Don't expect to hold very much weight so if you experience heavy debris i would go with something more solid.

                                  Good gutter guard for DIY
This is probably the best gutter guard for the DIYer. It does not have the structure under the screen that the pro models do. But for the price, if you don't have heavy objects falling on your gutters these will do fine. I slid them up under my shingles so they were very easy to install. The only challenge was cutting and shaping the ends and inside corners. I was able to cut off the front and back aluminum to leave enough screen to tuck into the ends of the gutters. Pros - Easy to install. - Includes plenty of self drilling screws and a bit. I only used 2 screws per piece. - Water flows right through them. - Great instructions. Cons - The ends of the screens are exposed rough stainless mesh which can stab you during installation or catch debris. I was able to cover the ends with silicone caulk to minimize this. - Where the end of one piece overlaps the next the screen does not want to lay flat against the one under it leaving a small gap for insects and debris to possibly enter. Not enough to clog any gutter though. - The ends of most of my pieces were bent due to packaging allowing them to hit the ends of the box during shipping.

I have been procrastinating about putting gutter guards up for 2 years because I have a 2 story house. My back gutter constantly clogs with pine needles and over flows. I finally bought these and wish I did it sooner. They are very sturdy and they were easy to install, the 2 story ladder was the difficult part. Screws and a magnetic bit was included. Since installing these the pine tree in my back yard has dumped tons of needles. Recently we’ve had some pretty good rain in the Houston area and I am not have any overflow from my gutters. The downspout looks like a fire hose in the big down pours. These are great, especially if you have a pine needle issue. They aren’t the cheapest, but considering how well they work, they are worth the extra cost.

I have installed many different types/styles of gutter guards but this one is by far the best. Tape adheres great on gutter with strong hold. Water flows right through the micro mesh while blocking every from entering gutter. Great Design

Two-Person Process for Older Gutter System
Propping a ladder against the gutter presents a bit of a challenge as the gutter gives way and won't accomodate the guard as easily. The instruction and video are very helpful for adding electric heat tape after cleaning the gutters.

I finally got the step ladder out to see if they needed to cleaned and was amazed that they were only had some loose granules from the shingles. We found these easy to install and love that we do not have to clean the gutters nor the Gutter Guards. This has been one of the best home improvements we have made...well worth the money spent,

The best DIY gutter guard I've encountered
These guards are well-made and high quality. I have only just installed them on half of my gutters, but the quality is impressive. As far as installation goes, I advise you to read the directions about how to trim, connect, and end the length of gutter. Also, you definitely want to wear gloves as the micro steel fibers can do a number on your hands.

I have tried several filtering gutter guards and they all create a mess on the outside of the gutters in areas with a lot of leaves falling. The area below these high volume areas also gets dirty and slimy from build up. The dirt or particles have to go somewhere since they cannot go through the filter the particles go over the edge of the gutter.
